Checking the fullness of the dust container
If the suction power of the vacuum cleaner is reduced or the dust container is full, empty it and clean the vacuum cleaner filter. For the VP4353 and VP4354, you can use a cleaning brush (K) to clean the filters.

Vacuuming water
The vacuum cleaner also allows you to vacuum a small amount of water. It is necessary to attach the head for vacuuming liquids to the vacuum cleaner. However, the amount of water must not exceed the maximum level of dirt of the dust container. This may cause clogging of filters and serious damage to the appliance. Empty the dust container before vacuuming water. Never leave water in the container.

MAINTENANCE
It is recommended to empty the dust container and clean the vacuum cleaner filters after each use of the vacuum cleaner.

Emptying the dust container

  1. Disconnect the charger from the mains.
  2. Hold the vacuum cleaner down with a dust container.
  3. Press the latch to release the dust container.
  4. Remove the water separator and empty the vacuum cleaner dust container.
  5. Reverse the procedure to attach the water separator and the filter and put the dust container back.

Cleaning and replacing the permanent filter
The vacuum cleaner filter can be cleaned by mechanical tapping and cleaning with a soft brush. Heavily soiled filter can be washed after this step and cleaned with a soft brush in lukewarm water without detergents.
It is important to let the wet parts dry thoroughly. A wet filter would be depleted by vacuuming! Do not use a hair dryer for drying!

Note : Wet cleaning can cause more wear on the filter and thereby shortening its life.

  • The filter should be cleaned or replaced with visible soiling or when the suction power of the vacuum cleaner drops.
Check it after each use of the vacuum cleaner.

  • To avoid damaging the vacuum cleaner, do not use it without a properly fitted filter and water separator.

  • You can purchase a suitable filter type from your dealer or order from the manufacturer.

Do not immerse the power cord or the charger in water or any other liquid.

As long as the noted defect may be removed, the user has the right to have the defect duly removed free of charge on a timely basis.
Where such a procedure is not reasonable with regard to the nature of the defect, the user may require to be supplied a  new defect-free product (replacement), or, where the defect applies to a part of the product only, replacement of the part concerned. However, if replacement of the product or any part thereof is not proportionate with regard to the nature of the defect, especially if the defect can be removed without undue delay, the customer has the right to have the defect removed free of charge.

The customer also has a right to a reasonable discount if a  new defect-free product cannot be supplied to them, or if a product part cannot be replaced or the product repaired unless the situation is remedied within a  reasonable time limit, or if remedying the situation would create major discomfort on the part of the customer.

The seller, authorised service centre or a  staff member authorised by them must decide about each complaint immediately or within three business days in complicated cases. This term does not include a reasonable period of time, depending on the type of product concerned, required for the defect to be assessed by an expert.
