NORTH AMERICAN MODELS WITH POLARIZED PLUGS:
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug, (one blade is wider than the other). As
a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended
to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature or modify the plug
in any way. If the plug fits loosely into the ac outlet or if the ac outlet
feels warm do not use that outlet.

HOW TO APPLY YOUR HEATING PAD
Heating pads are effective pain relievers to soothe muscle and joint pain. The
Renee XXL Massaging Heat Wrap with Contoured Neck is specifically designed to
fit the back of the head, neck, shoulders, and back.
NOTE: Always consult with your physician or health professional for
recommended treatment of an injury or chronic muscle or joint pain.
1. Drape the pad comfortably over your shoulders.
2. Once in place, secure the pad by connecting the plastic closure on either
end of the shoulders (Figure 1, Number 4).
3. Adjust the flexible rod in the neck of the pad for a snug fit (Figure 1,
Number 2).
4. To remove the pad, detach the plastic closure and lift the pad off of your
shoulders.
HOW TO USE YOUR HEATING PAD

- Plug into 120V AC electrical outlet
- To turn the pad on, press either the Heat Control Button (Figure 2, letter A) or the Massage Control Button (Figure 2, Letter B).
- Select from 2 heat settings; low or high, by repeatedly pressing the heat control button until the desired heat setting indicator lights up (Figure 2, letter C).
- Select from 4 massage settings by repeatedly pressing the massage control button until the desired massage setting indicator lights up; (
- Low Vibration – Constant, (2) Low Vibration – Pulsing, (3) High Vibration – Constant, (4) High Vibration – Pulsing, (Figure 2, Letter D).
- To turn the pad off, press the Heat and/or Massage Control Button repeatedly until all of the indicator lights turn off.
CAUTION :
- DO NOT SIT ON, LEAN AGAINST, CRUSH OR FOLD PAD DURING USE.
- DO NOT USE WHILE SLEEPING.
- SEE ADDITIONAL WARNINGS IN THE IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS SECTION.
AUTO-OFF FEATURE
Your heating pad controller includes an Auto-Off feature. This feature is
designed to conserve energy by automatically turning off after a certain
amount of time. The massage feature will automatically turn off after 30
minutes of continuous use. The heat feature will automatically turn off after
2 hours of continuous use. The Auto-Off Indicator (Figure 2, letter E) will
flash when the heat auto-off feature is activated and the pad shuts off. To
reset after Auto-Off, press the heat and/or massage control button until the
desired setting is reached.
NOTE : After a power outage or if the pad is unplugged, the Auto-Off
feature automatically resets the timer.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
DO NOT DRY CLEAN! DO NOT USE BLEACH! DO NOT USE A WRINGER! DO NOT WET THE
INNER PAD CONNECTED WITH CORD! ONLY WASH REMOVABLE OUTER COVER! DO NOT IRON!
1. Disconnect pad from outlet. DO NOT PULL BY THE CORD.
2. Remove the outer cover from the pad.
3. Machine wash cover in warm water on gentle cycle or hand wash. Tumble dry
on medium heat and remove promptly from dryer or drape to dry.
4. When cover is completely dry, reinsert the pad for use.
5. Do not wash heating pad. Wipe pad with a damp cloth, as needed. Do not
dampen the cord and connector. Hang to dry.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem | Solution |
---|---|
No Heat / No Massage / No Power | •Verify AC outlet Is functional. |
•Verify no physical damage to the cord, controller or pad. If there Is damage,
discontinue use.
•If failure continues, discontinue use. See warranty Information to contact
Sunbeam Consumer Service.
‘Auto-Off’ Indicator Is Flashing| •Auto-Off feature has been activated and
will turn the heat off atter 2 hours of continuous use.
•To re-start unit, press the Heat and/or Massage Control Button until the
desired setting is reached.
Pad has a Hot Spot| •Ensure the pad is not folded, bunched, overlapped or
crushed In any area.
‘High’ Heat Setting Indicator Light is Flashing| •The `High’ Heat Setting
Indicator light will start flashing when a fault Is detected. Follow these
steps to reset
1.Unplug the controller from the AC outlet
2.Verify the AC outlet is functional and plug the controller in the AC outlet
3.Press the Heat and/or Massage Control Button until the desired setting is
reached
•If flashing light persists, an error has occurred. Discontinue use of the
product and see warranty information to contact Sunbeam Customer Service.

2-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Sunbeam Products, Inc. (“Sunbeam”) or if in Canada, Newell Industries Canada ULC (“NIC”) warrants that for a period of two (2) years from the date of initial retail purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used in accordance with the instructions provided. Sunbeam (or NIC), at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. Sunbeam (or NIC) dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling Sunbeam (or NIC) products do not have the right to alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair, or alteration by anyone other than Sunbeam (or NIC) or an authorized Sunbeam (or NIC) service center. Further, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes, and tornadoes.
What are the limits on Sunbeam’s (or NIC’s) Liability?
Sunbeam (or NIC) shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential
damages caused by the breach of any express, implied or statutory warranty or
condition. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied
warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty. Sunbeam (or NIC)
disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express,
implied, statutory, or otherwise. Sunbeam (or NIC) shall not be liable for any
damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or misuse of, or
inability to use the product including incidental, special, consequential or
similar damages or loss of profits, or for any breach of contract, fundamental
or otherwise, or for any claim brought against the purchaser by any other
party. Some provinces, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long
an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply
