SETTING UP YOUR TREBLAB BTS

Turn ON

Press and hold the POWER button for 2 seconds. You will hear the “Power ON” voice prompt, and the blue and red LED light will start flashing.

Turn OFF

Press and hold the POWER button for 5 seconds. You will hear the “Power OFF” voice prompt, and the flashing blue LED light will go off.

PAIRING

Make sure TREBLAB BT5 are charged and turned OFF.

  1. Press and hold the POWER button for 2 seconds. You will hear the “Power ON” voice prompt, and a few seconds later -“PAIRING” (LED will flash red and blue rapidly).
  2. Activate the wireless connection option on your smart device and keep it within 3 feet/! meter while pairing.
  3. Using your smart device, scan/search for available devices.
  4. Select TREBLAB BT5 from the device list.
  5. If prompted for the password, enter “0000”.
  6. Once BT5 are successfully paired and connected, you will hear the “CONNECTED” voice prompt, and the LED will start flashing blue every second.
MULTIPOINT CONNECTION

The TREBLAB BT5 headphones have a multipoint connection. It allows two devices to be connected at the same time. While you won’t receive the input from both devices at the same time, you’ll be able to transition from one device to another seamlessly.
To connect BT5 to the second device:

  1. Temporarily switch the wireless mode OFF on the first device you’re connected to.
  2. Repeat pairing steps 1-6 and connect to the other device.
  3. Turn the wireless mode back ON for the first device.

When you turn the headphones ON, they will try to reconnect with recently connected device/devices. If the reconnection does not happen automatically, the headphones will try to find the next device in the pairing list.

AUDIO PLAYBACK

To pause and resume the playback, press the POWER button.
To adjust the volume, press shortly the Volume+ button to turn the volume up and the Volume- button to turn the volume down.
To change tracks on BT5 , press and hold for 2 seconds the Volume+ button to play the next track and the Volume- button to play the previous track.

PHONE CALLS MANAGEMENT

TREBLAB BT5 can be used to make and receive phone calls when connected wirelessly. The audio playback will be paused during calls.

  • To answer a call: Press the POWER button during the incoming call.
  • To reject a call: Press and hold the POWER button for 2 seconds.
  • To end a call: Press the POWER button during the conversation.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem

Not Powering ON| Make sure the headset is fully charged.
Charge for 2 hours, if necessary.
Reset the headphones by restoring the factory settings:
Press and hold the Volume + button and the Volume – for 5 seconds simultaneously.
Not pairing| Make sure the headphones are not paired with any other devices.
Make sure that after turning on you’ve heard the “PAIRING” voice prompt. If not, try to restart the headset.
Reset the headset to forget previously paired devices. Repeat the steps for pairing as previously described.
Alternatively, disconnect the device from your headset and remove TREBLAB BT5 from your device’s pairing list. Try to pair again.
Cannot find a wireless driver on a laptop| Make sure your laptop supports the wireless connection. If it doesn’t, you will need an external wireless USB adapter compatible with your laptop. For further details, consult with your laptop manufacturer.
Frequent disconnection and noise| Make sure that the distance between your device and the headset is less than 30 feet/10 meters.
Make sure that nothing is blocking the signal between your device and BT5.
Check if the music is paused.
Check if the volume level is set on both the source device and the headphones.
Check if the headset is running out of power.

RESTORE THE FACTORY SETTINGS

To restore the headphones back to the factory settings:

  1. Press and hold the Volume + and Volume – button for 5 seconds until the LED flashes blue.
  2. Now the headphones are restored back to the factory settings and ready to be paired again.

CHARGING

One full battery charge provides up to 15 hours of playtime at maximum volume and up to 24 hours at medium volume. When the battery is running low, you will hear the “BATTERY LOW” voice prompt.
To charge the headphones, plug one end of the supplied cable into the Micro- USB charging port on the left earcup. Plug the other end of the charging cable into a standard USB port. It takes up to 2.5 hours to charge fully.
The LED light will turn red while charging. The red light will turn blue when the headphones are fully charged.
Be sure to use a 5V DC, 0.5-2A adapter or charger. Using a power source with lower power will increase the overall charging time.
When not in use, unplug BT5 from the charging cable and the cable – from the power source.
If the headset is left unused, even the fully charged battery will lose its charge over time. We recommend charging fully TREBLAB BT5 at least twice a month to maintain the sufficient battery life.

SAFETY RULES

  • Don’t disassemble or modify your headphones for any reason. Doing this may cause the headphones to malfunction or become combustible. The damage to your device can void the manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Make sure the headset is completely dry before charging. Charging a wet device may cause serious damage.
  • Clean only with a dry cloth.
  • Avoid exposing TREBLAB BT5 to extreme temperatures (below 37°F / 3°C r above 112°F / 45°C)
  • Extreme temperatures can cause deformation of BT5 components and reduce the battery life and the lifespan of your headset.
  • Don’t put the device’s LED lights close to human’s or animal’s eyes.
  • Do not use BT5 during a thunderstorm. Thunderstorms can cause serious malfunction and increase the risk of electric shock.

RECYCLING

The earphones can be recycled, and they should be in order to keep our planet clean. Where should you bring them?
