Function  Operation

to smart device

WEARING YOUR HEADSET

Using an appropriate size ear-tips is critical for maximum external noise isolation and a snug secure fit. It is also common to have different sized ear canals, so try on one ear-tip at a time to find the best fit for each side. To fix the XR500 earbuds firmly, try to pull gently on the outer rim of your ear to ease the tip into a comfortable position. You should notice a drop in ambient noise when the ear-tip is placed correctly. And when you’re listening to music, you’ll notice more range.

To change the silicone ear-tips:

1. Turn over the ear-tip upper cover.
2. Rotate and firmly push the ear-tip tube to cover the ear-tip pillar.
3. Turn the ear-tip upper cover back on the nozzle.

SETTING UP YOUR TREBLAB XR500

Turn ON
Press and hold the POWER button for 2 seconds. You will hear a “Power ON” voice prompt, and the blue & red LED light will start flashing.

Turn OFF
Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds. You will hear a ‘Power OFF’ voice prompt, and the flashing blue LED light will go off.

PAIRING

Make sure TREBLAB XR500 iare charged and turned OFF.

1. Press and hold the POWER button on the right earbud. You will hear the “Power ON” voice prompt, and a few seconds later the LED will start flashing red and blue rapidly.
2. Activate the Bluetooth connection on your smart device and keep it within 3 feet/1 meter from XR500 while pairing.
3. Using your smart device, scantearch for available devices.
4. Select TREBLAB XR500 from the device list.
5. If prompted for the password, enter “0000”.
6. Once XR500 is successfully paired and connected, you will hear the “CONNECTED” voice prompt, and the LED will start flashing blue every 10 seconds.

MULTIPOINT CONNECTION

TREBLAB XR500 earbuds have a multipoint connection. It allows two devices to be connected at the same time. While you wont receive the input from both devices simultaneously, you’ll be able to transition from one device to another seamlessly.

To connect XR500 to the second device:

1. Temporarily switch OFF the Bluetooth mode on the first device you’re connected to.
2. Repeat pairing steps 1-6 and connect the other device.
3. Turn ON the Bluetooth mode back on the first device.
   When you turn on the earbuds, they will try to reconnect with recently connected device/devices. If the reconnection does not happen automatically, the earbuds will try to find the next device in the pairing list.

AUDIO PLAYBACK

To pause and resume playback, press the POWER button.

To adjust the volume, press shortly the Volume + button to turn the volume up and the Volume – button to turn the volume down.

To change tracks on the XR500 , press and hold the Volume + button to play the next track and Volume – button to play the previous track.

PHONE CALLS MANAGEMENT

TREBLAB XR500 can be used to make and receive phone calls when connected wirelessly. The audio playback will be paused during the calls.

Check if the USB charging cable is not damaged. Try to clean the charging port using a small soft brush or try to charge with another charging cable, adapter or USB port.
Not pairing| Make sure the earbuds are not paired with any other device.
Press and hold the Volume + and the POWER button for 5 seconds until you hear double-beep sound and the LED starts flashing blue. This will force the headset to forget previously paired devices. Repeat the steps for pairing as previously described.
Alternatively, disconnect the device from your headset and remove TREBLAB XR500 from your device’s pairing list. Try to pair again.
Cannot find a wireless driver on a laptop| Make sure your laptop supports the wireless connection. If it doesn’t, you will need an external wireless USB adapter compatible with your laptop. For further details, consult with your laptop manufacturer.
Frequent disconnection and noise| Make sure that the distance between your device and the headset is less than 30 feet/10 meters.
Make sure that nothing is blocking the signal between your device and XR500.
Check if the music is paused.
Check if the volume level is set on both the source device and the earbuds.
Check if the headset is running out of power.
Restore XR500 to factory settings by following instructions in the previous section of the manual.

RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS

To restore the earbuds back to factory settings:

1. Power on XR500
2. Press and hold the Volume + and the POWER button for 5 seconds until you hear double-beep sound and the LED starts flashing blue.
3. Now the earphones are restored back to the factory settings and ready to be paired again.

CHARGING

Use only the provided USB’micro USB cable to charge the earbuds.

One full battery charge provides up to 6 hours of playtime at maximum volume and up to 9 hours at medium volume. When the battery is running low, you will hear the “BATTERY LOW” voice prompt.

To charge the earbuds, plug one end of the supplied cable into the Micro-USB charging port under the rubber cover of the right earbud. Plug the other end of the charging cable into a standard USB port. It takes up to 2 hours to charge fully.

The LED light will turn red while charging. The red light will turn blue when the earbuds are fully charged. When not in use, unplug XR500 from the charging cable and the cable from the power source.

Don’t overcharge the earbuds as it may lead to premature battery degradation and voidance of the manufacturers warranty.

If the headset is left unused, even the fully charged battery will lose its charge over time. We recommend charging fully TREBLAB XR500 at least twice a month to maintain sufficient battery life.

SAFETY RULES.

• Don’t disassemble or modify your earbuds for any reason. Doing this may cause the earbuds to malfunction or become combustible. The damage to your device can void the manufacturers warranty.
• Make sure the headset is completely dry before charging. Charging a wet device may cause serious damage.
• Avoid exposing TREBLAB XR500 to extreme tempera¬tures (below 37°F / 3°C or above 112°F / 45°C). Extreme temperatures can cause the deformation of the XR500 components and reduce the battery life and the lifespan of your headset.
• Don’t put the device’s LED lights close to humans’ or animals’ eyes.
• Do not use XR500 during a thunderstorm. Thunderstorms can cause serious malfunction and increase the risk of electric shock

RECYCLING

The earphones can be recycled and they should be to keep our planet clean. Where should you bring them? In the US, there are a couple of options:
