Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed. Children aged from 8 years and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge can use this appliance, only if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Unless they are older than 8 and supervised, children should not use, perform cleaning or user maintenance. This appliance is not a toy. This appliance contains no user-serviceable parts. If any part of the appliance is malfunctioning, or if the appliance has been dropped or damaged, only a qualified electrician should carry out repairs. Improper repairs may place the user at risk of harm. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children. Keep the appliance away from heat or sharp edges that could cause damage. Do not immerse the electrical components of this appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not leave the appliance unattended whilst it is switched on. Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage. Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use. Do not use any accessories other than those supplied. Do not store the appliance in direct sunlight or in high humidity conditions. Do not remove the adaptor from the mains power supply by pulling the cord; switch off and remove. the plug by had.

Do not use the adaptor to recharge non-rechargeable batteries or any other appliance. Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
Use of an extension cord with the appliance is not recommended.
Only use the appliance with the power supply unit provided.
This appliance should not be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote
control system.
Switch off the appliance before changing or fitting accessories.
Always switch off the appliance after use and before any cleaning or user maintenance.
This appliance is intended for domestic use only. It should not be used for commercial purposes.

Care and Maintenance

Before attempting any cleaning or maintenance, make sure that the LED strip is turned off. Wipe down the LED strip with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

Do not:

Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the LED strip.
Do not immerse the LED strip in water or any other liquid.
Do not expose the remote control to extremely high or low temperatures, as this may destroy the battery.

Instruction for Use

Using the 3 M LED Light Strip

STEP 1: Clean the area where the LED strip will be placed. Connect the mains power adaptor to the LED pod on the LED Light Strip.
STEP 2: Unravel the LED strip from the LED wheel and lay on a flat, stable surface. Measure out the desired length for the LED Strip.
STEP 3: Cut the LED strip at the closest cutting indicator circle to the desired length.
STEP 4: Carefully remove the paper from the back of the LED strip to reveal the adhesive side of the strip.
STEP 5: Stick the strip to the desired area. Plug the mains power adaptor into the mains power supply and switch it on. The LED strip will flash to signal that it has been plugged in.
STEP 6: Use the remote control to switch the LED strip on. The remote control can also be used to cycle through the light modes on the LED ship and to turn if off.
Note: Make sure that any cuts made to the LED strip are made at the end of the LED strip that is furthest from the power supply.
If the LED strip is disconnected from the mains power supply whilst switched on, when if is reconnected the lights will turn on automatically
