Safety Instructions

  • When using electrical products, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
  • Keep the product and its accessories out of the reach of children.
  • Keep small parts away from children as these may present a choking hazard.
  • Children under 8 years should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
  • This product is not a toy.
  • This product contains no user serviceable parts. If the product and any of its accessories are malfunctioning or damaged; the unit should be recycled.
  • Keep the product and its accessories away from heat sources, direct sunlight, humidity, water and any other liquid, or sharp edges that could cause damage.
  • Ensure the product is well-ventilated.
  • Do not leave any objects susceptible to magnetism (cash cards etc.) near the product.
  • Do not operate the product with wet hands.
  • Do not operate the product if it has been exposed to water, moisture or any other liquid, to prevent against electric shock, explosion and or injury to yourself and damage to the product.
  • Do not use the product for anything other than its intended use.
  • Do not use any accessories other than those supplied.
  • Do not put objects into any of the openings.
  • This product is intended for domestic use only. It should not be used for commercial purposes.

Battery Safety

  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
  • In the event of a battery and cell leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
  • Secondary cells and batteries need to be charged before use. After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the cells or batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.
  • Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
  • Do not crush, puncture, dismantle or otherwise damage batteries.
  • Do not store above 60 °C.
  • Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
  • Do not dispose of exhausted batteries in household waste.
  • Do not expose the batteries to heat or fire as they may explode.
  • Once the batteries have been exhausted, dispose of the product at a local recycling station. Contact the local government offices for further details.
  • This product is fitted with a 3 V 210 mAh CR2032 battery (non-removable).

Disposal of Waste Batteries and Electrical and Electronic Equipment

This symbol on the product, its batteries or its packaging means that this product and any batteries it contains must not be disposed of with household waste. Instead, it is the user’s responsibility to hand this over to an applicable collection point for the recycling of batteries and electrical and electronic equipment. This separate collection and recycling will help to conserve natural resources and prevent potential negative consequences for human health and the environment due to the possible presence of hazardous substances in batteries and electrical and electronic equipment, which could be caused by inappropriate disposal. Some retailers provide take-back services which allow the user to return exhausted equipment for appropriate disposal. It is the user’s responsibility to delete any data on electrical and electronic equipment prior to disposal. For more information about where to drop batteries, electrical and electronic waste off, please contact the local city/municipality office, household waste disposal service, or the retailer.

Care and Maintenance

Wipe the alarm clock with a soft, lint-free cloth.

DO NOT:

  • Use any abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the alarm clock.
  • Expose the alarm clock to extremely high or low temperatures.
  • Drop the alarm clock.
  • Attempt to disassemble the alarm clock.
  • Dispose of the alarm clock in a fire as it will result in an explosion.

Instructions for Use

Powering the Alarm Clock

Connect the Type- connector of the USB cable provided into the 5 V =- Type- port and the USB-A connector into a compatible USB port. The alarm clock must remain plugged in during use.
NOTE: Make sure the alarm clock is positioned close enough to the power source that the cable is not stretched or strained. This could cause damage to both the cable and the alarm clock.

Using the Wireless Charging Alarm Clock

Basic Functionality

  • The alarm clock will automatically power on once connected to a power source.
  • Alternatively, press ‘ ‘ once to turn the alarm clock on; press  again to turn the alarm clock off.
  • To select the time format, press ‘A’ once. The LCD screen will display ’12 H’ or ’24 H’ to indicate which format has been selected.

Adjusting the Time

  • STEP 1: To adjust the time, press ‘M’ once.
  • STEP 2: Once the hour flashes, use ‘ ‘ and ‘ ‘ to adjust the hour.
  • STEP 3: Press ‘M’ once more to adiust the minute setting. Use ‘ ‘ and ‘ ‘ to adiust the minutes.
  • STEP 4: Once the desired time is selected, press and hold ‘M’ for 3 seconds to fix the time.
  • STEP 5: To reset the time, press and hold “ ‘ for 3 seconds. The time will automatically adjust to 6:00 AM.

Setting the Alarm

  • STEP 1: To turn the alarm on, press and hold ” for two seconds; the LCD display will flash ‘ON’. To turn the alarm off, press and hold ‘ ‘ again.
  • STEP 2: Once the alarm is enabled, press  ” once to amend the hour. Once the hour flashes, use  ” and ” to adiust the hour.
  • STEP 3: Press ‘M’ once to adjust the minute. Once the minute flashes, use A’ and ‘V’ to adjust the minute.
  • STEP 4: Once the desired time is selected, press and hold ‘M’ for 3 seconds to confirm the time.
  • STEP 5: When the alarm clock goes off, tap the top of the screen or press any button to stop the alarm. The alarm clock will ring for 30 seconds, with an interval of 10 seconds, and then ring again for 30 seconds. This cycle will continue for 10 minutes, and then the alarm clock will automatically turn off.

NOTE : Only one alarm can be set at one time.

Wireless Charging Mode
The alarm clock can also be used as a wireless charging pad for wireless charging compatible devices. Check the device specification to find out if the device is compatible.
Place a wireless charging capable device on the wireless charging pad. The device may need to be moved to match the right area with the wireless charging pad. A blue LED indicator light will light to indicate wireless charging has started and will switch off once the device is completely charged.
NOTE : Make sure the alarm clock and device are on a flat, secure surface to avoid them falling. The device may heat up slightly during wireless charging, make sure it has cooled fully before use. Some phone cases do not support wireless charging due to their thickness and design. If the phone model is compatible with wireless charging and it is unable to charge it wirelessly, remove the phone case and retry.

Troubleshooting

  • The alarm clock has no power.
    The power cord may not be connected correctly.
    Check both ends of the power cord are fully inserted and the cable is not overstrained by the position of the alarm clock.

  • The alarm clock is not ringing.
    The alarm has not been activated.
    To activate the alarm, follow the instructions in the section entitled ‘Setting the Alarm’.

  • The alarm clock will not stop ringing.
    The alarm clock has not been tapped with enough force.
    Alternatively, press any button to stop the alarm.

  • The alarm clock will not snooze.
    There is no snooze feature on this alarm clock.

  • The volume of the alarm clock cannot be adjusted.
    The alarm clock has a set volume.

  • The wireless charging pad is not working.
    The device is not wireless charging compatible.
    To check the device is wireless charging compatible, follow the instructions in the section entitled ‘Wireless Charging Mode’.
