Intended use
The Nedis KACM250EBK is a coffee maker with a water reservoir for up to 8 cups
of coffee.
The thermal coffee jug keeps the brewed coffee warm for up to 6 hours.
The product is intended for indoor use only.
This product is not intended for professional use.
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
done by children without supervision.
The product is intended for use in household environments for typical
housekeeping functions that may also be used by non-expert users for typical
housekeeping functions, such as: shops, offices other similar working
environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential
type environments and/or in bed and breakfast type environments.
Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and
proper functioning.

Safety instructions
WARNING
- Ensure you have fully read and understood the instructions in this document before you install or use the product. Keep the packaging and this document for future reference.
- Only use the product as described in this document.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
- Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
- Unplug the product from the power source and other equipment if problems occur.
- Do not use the product to heat anything other than water.
- If the surface is cracked, immediately disconnect the product from the power supply and do not use the product anymore.
- Do not let the power cable hang over the edge of a table or counter.
- Do not place the product in a cabinet when in use.
- Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
- Ensure no water enters the power outlet.
- Connect to a grounded outlet only.
- Do not unplug the product by pulling on the cable. Always grasp the plug and pull.
- Do not let the power cable touch hot surfaces.
- Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, naked flames or heat.
- Never immerse the product in water or place it in a dishwasher.
- Do not remove the top lid while the brewing cycle is in progress.
- Do not open the water reservoir during use.
- Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
- Unplug the product from the power source before service and when replacing parts.
- Children of less than 8 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- Usage by children should be supervised at all times.
- This product is not a toy. Never allow children or pets to play with this product.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
- Do not move the product during operation.
- Do not touch any hot surfaces.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the product is operating.
- Do not fill the water reservoir above the “MAX” indicator.
- This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
Before first use
Clean the reusable mesh coffee filter A1, brewing chamber A2, coffee jug A7 and the water reservoir Aq with soap and rinse with water.
When you first use this product, perform two full brewing cycles without
coffee to clean the inside of the product.
Do not fill the water reservoir above the “MAX” indicator.
Do not touch any hot surfaces.

Open the lid A9.

Fill the water reservoir Aq with 150 ml clean water for every cup of coffee.

Place the reusable mesh coffee filter A1 and the brewing chamber A3 into the brewing chamber holder A4.

Add grounded coffee into A1.
Usually one level spoon of grounded coffee is needed for one cup of coffee. Adjust the amount according to your personal taste. -
Distribute the ground coffee evenly.

Close A9.

Place the coffee jug A7 on the base A8.

Plug the power cable At into a power outlet.

Press the power button A8 to start the brewing cycle. A8 lights up.
Do not open the lid A9 while the brewing cycle is in progress. -
Take A 7 from A8.

Wait one minute after the brewing cycle has finished to allow all the coffee to drip into A7.

Rotate A5 clockwise to the open position.

Fill your cup with the brewed coffee.
Be careful, hot steam may escape. -
Enjoy your coffee.
After 8 minutes the product automatically switches off.- Press A13 to switch off the product.

Unplug A14 from the power outlet.

Discard the used ground coffee.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Let the product cool down before cleaning it.
Do not immerse the product in water.
Do not expose the electrical connections to water or moisture.
Only the brewing chamber and the reusable mesh filter can be washed in a
dishwasher. The thermal jug is not dishwasher safe and should be cleaned by
hand in soapy water.
Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives
that can damage the surface.
Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or
acetone when cleaning the product.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children under the age of 8
and without supervision.
Do not attempt to repair the product. If the product does not operate
correctly, replace it with a new product.
Descaling the product
- Open A9
- Fill A10 to the ‘MAX’ indicator A11 with one part white vinegar and three parts of cold water.
- Place A12 into A 4.
- Close A 9.
- Place A 7 without the jug lid A 5 onto A 8.
- Plug the power cable A 14 into a power outlet.
- Press A13 to switch on the product.
- Wait a few minutes after the brewing cycle has finished to allow all the coffee to drip into the jug.
- Allow the product to cool down.
- Remove, rinse and place back A7
- Repeat the above steps with a fresh water-vinegar mixture.
- Rinse the product three times with only cold water.
