OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Prior to first use, remove the plastic battery isolator tab located between the earbuds and charging case.
NOTE: The function compatibility may vary among different smartphones or devices. Not all functions are available on all devices.
CHARGING THE CASE
Use the included charging cable to fully charge the case before first use. It will take approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge.
- The blue LEDs will flash while the case is charging (and then stay on depending on the case charge)
- The 4 blue LEDs will stay ON after the case has charged and then turn off after a period of time.
CHARGING THE EARBUDS
The earbuds will automatically power OFF and begin charging when they are placed in the charging case. The white LED will turn ON to indicate the earbuds are charging and turn OFF when charging is complete. It will take 1.5 hours to fully charge the earbuds. The earbuds can be charged 3 times using a fully charged case.
NOTE: During use, the white LED on the earbuds will flash twice and beep once to indicate their battery level is low. Please charge the earbuds.
PAIRING
The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth® pairing mode when used for the first time. The left and right earbuds connect to each other.
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. The earbuds will beep and the blue LED will flash 3 times to indicate the earbuds have powered ON
- Follow the instructions and enter “0000” as PIN, if required
- When the earbuds are successfully paired the blue LEDs will flash every 10 seconds
- After initial pairing, the earbuds will automatically turn ON and connect to your device when removed from the charging case, provided both earbuds and your Bluetooth® are ON and within range.
- If the earbuds are already paired to a device, the MFB has to be pressed 3 times to put them into pairing mode so they can be paired to another device. The white and blue LEDs will flash and the earbuds will beep to indicate they have paired. Turn Bluetooth® ON in your device settings and select “HRB 5028”
TO USE ONLY THE LEFT OR RIGHT EARBUD
If both earbuds are turned ON and paired to your device, you can return the right or left earbud to the charging case and the earbud (R or L) in your ear will continue to play. To use the right or left earbud only, remove it from the charging case. It will turn on and connect automatically to your device.
CLEAR PAIRED MEMORY
The earbuds retain a paired memory. If you have removed “HRB 5028” from your device, you will need to erase the paired memory before adding both earbuds back to your device.
To clear the paired memory:
- Turn Bluetooth® OFF in your device’s settings
- Put both earbuds in the charging case.
- When the white LEDs are ON, press and hold the MFB button on each earbud until each LED flashes
- Remove the earbuds from the case, they will flash blue. One earbud will stop flashing and the other will start flashing white/blue quickly
- Return both earbuds to the case to complete the process
