PRODUCT OVERVIEW

You can use this item with any compatible, Bluetooth0 -enabled device to stream music. Please read this manual first before using. This speaker has an IPX4 rating: Protected against splashing water.

OPERATION

| Press the [> button to play, press to pause, press again to resume.
Next track| Press and hold the + button.
Previous track| Press and hold the – button.
Increase volume| Press the+ button.
Decrease volume| Press the-button.
Switch to AUX mode| Plug in an AUX cable. Press thei button.
Change light mode| Press the* button.
Switch to microphone/Karaoke/ guitar mode| Plug in a 6.35mm microphone or guitar. Press the button.


Bass boost

| Press the bass boost button to tum ON when playing music.

Press again to tum OFF.


Increase/decrease mic treble in microphone/Karaoke mode

| Press the4  button.

NOTE: this function works only in

microphone/Karaoke mode.

CHARGING

Use the included charging cable to fully charge the speaker before first use. It will take approximately 5 hours to fully charge

  • The red LED wil I be ON while the speaker is charging
  •  The red LED wil I turn OFF once charging is complete

TIP : When the battery is low, the speaker will beep every few seconds, please charge the speaker. If it is not plugged in to charge within approximately 10 minutes, it wil I rum OFF. The speaker will automatically power OFF if not in use for 30 minutes.

PAIRING

  1.  Press the if button to I.\Jrn the speaker ON. The speaker will chime and the LED display will show A – and 2 digits indicating the volume level, for example A-08.
  2.  The* button will flash to indicate the speaker is ready to pair.
  3.  Turn Bluetooth” ON in your device settings and select “HRSP 5043”. The speaker will chime. Once paired successfully, the t icon on the LCD display will be ON.
    NOTE : If there is no device paired within 30 minutes the speaker will turn OFF. To un-pair, disconnect in your device settings. The speaker will automatically pair with previously paired devices provided Bluetooth” is ON and within range. The speaker will chime to indicate that it has successfully ne-paired. If your device does not discover the HRSP 5043 speaker, press the * button and repeat the pairing process

MICROPHONE AND Karaoke MODE

Plug your microphone into the MIC jack. The, will appear on the LED display.

  1.  To  the volume up or down, press the i button. Volume levels can be adjusted, from L- 01 to L- 16.
  2.  For Karaoke, choose music from your device and sing along.
  3.  Press the button to increase or decrease the echo. The LED display will briefly display E – 00 up to E – 16 and then revert back to show the volume level.
  4.  Press the button to increase or decrease bass.
  5.  Press the 4 .. button to increase or decrease treble.
    NOTE : After you plug in the microphone, L-00 will show on the LED display for 10 seconds. It will then revert back to the volume A-00. Always set the volume to a minimum level before plugging in or unplugging a microphone.

GUITAR MODE
If using an electric guitar, plug it into the guitar jack. The~ icon will show in the LED display. DO NOT plug this into the microphone jack. NOTE: After you plug in a guitar, G-00 will show on the LED display for 10 seconds. It wil I then revert back to the volume A-08.

LED LIGHT EFFEC T

  •  Press the* button to select from the 4 available light modes.
    •  Multi-colour light rotation
    •  Light dancing
    •  Half light rotation
    •  Half light dancing
    •  OFF
  •  Press and hold the button to change to a single colour and then press* button to change colours (choose from 7 colour options)
  •  Press and hold the button, the LED will turn OFF. Press the* to select a different light mode

HARDWARE RESET
To reset the speaker if it becomes unresponsive, insert a needle into the reset hole. The speaker will I.\Jrn OFF then turn back ON

FACTORY RESET
In any mode press and hold both the if and [> buttons for 3 seconds.

LINE-IN (AUX IN) MODE

  1. Use the supplied 3.5mm audio cable to connect the speaker directly with your device.
  2.  AUX will show in the display.
    NOTE : LINE-IN will take priority over the Bluetooth” connection. To switch to Bluetooth0 mode, press the i button.

IPX4 RATING
This product has an IPX4 rating, it is protected from splashing water. To avoid water damage to the speaker please:

  1. Thoroughly dry the charging port dry before connecting AC power.
  2.  Keep the protective covers closed securely before exposing the speaker to splashing water.

PARTY/BROADCAST PAIRING

  1. Turn the speakers and Bluetooth• ON, then select one HRSP 5043 from your Bluetooth” device list as the primary speaker.
  2.  Turn the other speakers ON, press and hold the :,:i button on all speakers to enter party/broadase mode
  3.  Turn Bluetooth” ON and select HRSP 5043 from your Bluetooth” device list.
  4.  To exit party/broadcast mode, press and hold the button.

NOTE: Audio control can only be adjusted on the primary speaker. If there are two devices connected to the speaker, press the (use party/broadcast icon) button to disconnect one device. TWS pairing will not work when speakers are being used in broadcast mode.

TWS PAIRING

  1.  Turn ON two HRSP 5043 Party Base speakers and press and hold the * button on both speakers simultaneously.
  2.  The speakers will enter stereo pairing mode and the * icon on the LED display will flash white.
  3.  When paired successfully, ‘A’ will light up on the LED display on the primary speaker, and the ‘B’ will light up on the LED display on the secondary speaker.
  4.  Turn Bluetooth” ON in your device settings and select HRSP 5043.
  5.  The* will light up in the LED display on both speakers after your device has paired.

NOTE: Press and hold the* buttons again to exit TWS pairing mode.

TROUBLESHOOTING

No Sound:

  •  Ensure the speaker is charged and has enough battery power for operation
  •  Ensure the speaker is switched ON
  •  Ensure Bluetooth” device is ON
  •  The volume of the speaker is too low, adjust the volume to an appropriate level

No power/low battery prompt tone

  •  Battery may be in protection mode or drained. Charge the speaker for 6 hours Poor sound quality/buzzing sound
  •  Ensure there are no obstacles between the speaker and the device and that they are within an effective range
  •  Check your network on your device
  •  Connect with another device Speaker does not pair/disconnect
  •  Move the speaker and device so they are closer (within 1 m)
  •  Turn OFF all other Bluetooth” devices or disable their Bluetooth”
  •  Clear the speaker memory or pair it to a new device by pressing the* button and hold the [> button for 3 seconds.
  •  Clear your phone pairing list and pair the Bluetooth” device with the speaker manually.

No sound/low volume

  •  Increase the speaker/device volume and ensure that the sound on your device is not muted
  •  Ensure the speaker and the device are within 1 m of each other
  •  Turn OFF your speaker and reconnect your device
  •  Connect with a different device
  •  Charge your speaker for 6 hours
  •  Turn the echo effect down
  •  Orient the microphone so that it is not pointing directly at the speaker
  •  Try a different microphone
  •  Try a different position for the speaker and/or vocalist on stage
  •  Increase the distance from the speaker to the microphone
  •  If using a vocal effects processor, make sure it is not contributing to the feedback problem
