ADVENTURE ALU-BOX:
The TRAX ADVENTURE ALU-GGX is designed exclusively tor mounhng on SW-MOTECH
GUICK-LOCK side carriers, QUICK-LOCK adapter plate an STEEL-RACK adapter kit,
Modifications made to the cases wil void any warranty.
ATTENTION: Riding with TRAX ADVENTURE ALU-BOX may affect the motorcycle’s
driving and braking performance.
ATTENTION: TRAX ADVENTURE ALU-BOXES M & L must be used in pairs.
Make cure the weight is eventy distributed between left and right aide case.
ATTEMTION: Maximam load: Please refer to the mounting instructions of the SW-
MOTECH QUICK-LOCK side carrier, ALU-RACK of STEEL-RACK. Maxirourm speed with
mounted cases: 130 kiavh 169 phi.
ATTEMTION: Hake sure that the TRAX ADVENTURE ALU-BOK is propeciy attached to
the particular adapter and fully engaged to all feur mounting points! ALL
latches of the TRAX ADVENTURE ALU-BOX must be locked BEFORE riding with the
Trax @ EVO / TRAX ADW tock cylinder set (sold ‘separatety] and remain closed
while riding. Impreperty meunted cates run the righ of detaching during
transport.
CARE
To cloan the TRAX ADVENTURE ALU-BOX, use warm, soapy water and a soft, clean
cloth, irse with clean water, Do NOT uve strong cleaning agents. rough
cleaning tools or hagh pressure washer!

LID AND LOCK CYLINDER SET
Open the lid
(TRAX ADV M / L / topcase)
- – Pull the latch of the lid upwards
- and remove it from the latch bar.
- Open the lid.
Insertion of the TraX ® EVO / TRAX ADV lock cylinder set *
(TRAX ADV M / L / Topcase)

– Insert the lock cylinders into the latches.
-
– Secure the lock cylinders with the clamping plates.
ATTENTION: Pay attention to the correct alignment of the clamping plates (as shown in the detail drawings). -
Insert the keys into the lock cylinders; open or close the lock cylinder as shown in the schematicdrawing.
ATTENTION: Use for lubrication graphite powder ONLY! * Sold separately.
LID LIMITER
Mounting the lid limiters
(TRAX ADV M / L / top case)
- – Open the lid. Attach the snap-fit (4] with the shown parts at the lid frame. Tighten the screws as specified in the parts list.
- – Attach the lid limiters (5) with the shown parts at the case frame. NOTE: Pay attention to left-rightspecifications for the limiters fin driving direction). Tighten the screws as specified in the parts list. Press the lid limiters onto the snap-fits.
- Before closing the lid for the first time, the lid limiters must be compressed as shown in the drawing. While closing the lid, make sure that the lid limiters are not pinched between lid and case.
- To remove the lid from the case (as shown on page 5), rernove the lid limiters from the snap-fits first.
QUICK RELEASE FASTENER
Removing the lid
(TRAX ADVENTURE M /L)

– Press the quick release fastener down until it clicks into place and the button pops out.
-
– Then remove the tid fram the case.
NOTE: if you have installed the lid limiters {5}, they must be detached before removing the lid [as shown on page 4). -
– Press the button of the quick release fastener to lock the replaced lid in place. Make sure that the quick release fastener snaps above.
Maintenance and cleaning of the quick release fastener
(TRAX ADVENTURE M /L)
- – Loosen the six screws on the inner side of the case and remove the quick release fastener.
- Loosen the screw of the button {fix with thumb and index finger).
- Loosen the shown clip carefully and…
- remove the quick release fastener and springs from the mounting plate.
- Clean the components with clean water and let it air dry. Reattach all parts in reversed order.
MOUNTING
Attachement of TRAX ADVENTURE ALU-BOX M & L
-
– Lead the four openings of the mounting rails onto the locating bolts of the mounted QUICK-LOCK adapter kit.
Then press the TRAX ADVENTURE ALU-BOX slightly downward, until it properly rests on QUICK-LOCK side carrier.
ATTENTION: Make sure that all four locating bolts rests on at the same time. -
– Place the latch over the latch hook and…
-
– … close the latch; check the proper fit of the TRAX ADVENTURE ALU-BOX on the QUICK-LOCK sidecarrier.
ATTENTION: Make sure the closed latch is under sufficient tension! If not the latch hook must bereadjusted!
ATTENTION: Secure the TRAX ADVENTURE ALU-BOX with the separately available TraX ® EVO /
TRAX ADVENTURE lock cylinder set at the QUICK-LOCK side carrier before riding!

stability of your vehicle.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Observe the country-specific regulations concerning vehicle registration/
operation as well as TUV regulations if applicable. If required, register
installed parts in the vehicle documents through an appropriate inspection
authority. PREPARATION: Read the mounting tnstructions carefully and make sure
that all items of the parts list are included. Make sure that your vehicle is
parked safely and cannot fall over. Turn off the engine and remove the
ignition key. Let the motor/exhaust cool off if necessary. Disconnect the
vehicle battery when working on the electrical system. Use appropriate tools.
Have another person to help you.
MOUNTING: All parts and connections removed from the vehicle must be
reinstalled in accordance with the vehicle manufacturers’ specifications or
teplaced by parts delivered by SW-MOTECH. Secure all threads, unless otherwise
specified, with medium-strength liquid thread locker. Torque specifications
undefined by SW-MOTECH must be obtained from the vehicle manufacturer or by a
specialist workshop!
FUNCTION CHECK: After installation make sure that all parts and connections
previously removed are properly replaced. Also make sure that no moving parts
are obstructed and no function of the vehicle is hindered in any way. Cables
and hoses must not rub and/or be pinched. Before starting to ride, perform a
comprehensive check of all functions. After the first 50 km and then at
regular intervals, check the tightening torque of all screw connections and
the proper fit of the product.

MOUNTING
NOTE: The illustration shows the mounting to the right PRO side carrier.
Mount the parts to the left PRO side carrier in the same way as to the right
PRO side carrier. Attach the shown parts to your PRO side carriers (sold
separately). Tighten the screws as specified in the parts list.
ATTENTION: To ensure the proper fit of your TRAX ADV / EVO / ION side case,
adjust the latch hook (1) over the elongated holes (see detail drawing)! Make
sure that the side case’s latch engages properly when mounted!

Attach the shown parts to your ADVENTURE RACK (sold separa- tely).
ATTENTION: Use liquid thread locker [screws (6) only]!
Tighten the screws as specified in the parts list.
ATTENTION: To ensure the proper fit of your TRAX ADV/EVO/ION topcase,
adjust the latch hook (1) over the elongated holes [see detail drawing]! Make
sure that the topcase’s latch engages properly when mounted!
Adapter plate for STREET-RACK Attach the shown parts to your adapter plate for
STREET-RACK (sold separately).
Tighten the screws as specified in the parts list.
ATTENTION: To ensure the proper fit of your TRAX ADV/EVO/ION topcase,
adjust the latch hook (1) over the elongated holes [see detail drawing)! Make
sure that the
topcase’s latch engages properly when mounted!

ENGLISH – Thank you for choosing this quality product from SW-MOTECH.
The TraX ® Gear Plus Bag is designed exclusively for use with the TraX ® ALU-
BOX.
SECURITY
Please pay attention to the following product information:
Modifications will void any warranty.
ATTENTION: Riding with the TraX ® Gear Ptus Bag may affect the
motorcycle’s driving and braking performance.
ATTENTION: Maximum load (TraX ® Gear Plus Lid Innerbag): Please refer the
manual instructions of the QUICK-LOCK EVO Side Carriers and the TraX ® ALU-
BOX, but not more then 1 kg. The maximum vehicle load specified by the
manufacturer must not be exceeded!
ATTENTION: BEFORE riding make sure that the TraX ® Gear Plus Lid Innerbag
is properly attached. Check the proper fit at each stop!
ATTENTION: All parts of the TraX ® Gear Plus Bag must not contact any hot
or moving parts of the vehicle. All parts should also remain 5 cm away from
the exhaust and remain clear of the exhaust stream. All strap ends should be
secured so they can not blow around once the vehicle is in motion. Dropping
the motorcycle or improper handling can damage the outer surface of the TraX ®
Gear Plus Bag.
Never store pointy or sharp-edged objects in bags, which could cause injury to
persons or damage to the vehicle/product.
Care
To clean the TraX ® Gear Plus Bag, use warm, soapy water and a soft, clean
cloth. Rinse with clean water. Do NOT use strong cleaning agents, rough
cleaning tools or high pressure washer! Clean the TraX ® Gear Plus Bag after
riding in salty conditions, to avoid damage from salt.
ATTENTION: Surface materials can experience color changes or fading when
exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time and by environmental
factors [e.g., SMOG, acid rain, etc.)! SW-MOTECH assume no liability for this.
Munting
TraX ® Gear Plus Lid Innerbag (BC.ALK.00.732.10100/B)
ATTENTION: Only for TraX ® ADVENTURE ALU-BOX! Place the TraX @ Gear Plus Lid
Innerbag on the inner side of the TraX ® ALU-BOX lid.
Fix the straps of theTraX ® Gear Plus Lid Innerbag to the tie-down points of
the lid, as shown in the drawing.
Now pull the straps until the Trax ® Gear Plus Lid Innerbag is centered and
sits tightly. Make sure there are no loose strapends.

MOTECH side sarriers and the TRAX aluminium case, but not more then 2kg. The
maximum vehicle load specified by the manufacturer must not be exceeded!
Maximum speed with mounted TRAX expansion bag: 130 km/h! ATTENTION: BEFORE
riding make sure that the TRAX expansion bag is properly attached. Check the
proper fit at each stop!
ATTENTION: All parts of the TRAX expansion bag must not contact any hot
or moving parts of the vehicle. All parts should also remain S cm away from
the exhaust and remain clear of the exhaust stream. All strap ends should be
secured so they can not blow around once the vehicle is in motion. Dropping
the motorcycle or improper handling can damage the outer surface of the
TRAX expansion bag.
Never store pointy or sharp-edged objects in bags, which could cause injury to

ATTENTION: Dirt on the product and vehicle has an abrasive effect and can
damage surfaces. Make sure that all areas of the case, which have contact with
the product, are protected with an adhesive protection film from scratches and
abrasions. SW-MOTECH assumes no Liability for paint damage and abrasions.
FIXATION
Place the TRAX expansion bag on the lid of the TRAX aluminium box or a similar
aluminum case.
Fix alt four straps of the TRAX expansion bag to the tie-down points of the
lid, as shown in the lower detail drawings.
Now tighten the straps until the TRAX expansion bag is centered and sits
firmly on the lid. Make sure that the strap ends are secured against
fluttering.

and/or servicing carried out by a specialist workshop.

and/or maintenance work.
Carefully follow all the directions given in the mounting instructions. Also
pay attention to all relevant information in the vehicle manual during
assembly. Nonconformance can lead to vehicle damage or even endanger the
driver! Please keep the mounting instructions as reference.
This product was developed for vehicles in their original condition.
Compatibility with original accessory parts or other manufacturers’ accessory
parts is not guaranteed. Instalied accessories can change driving behaviour
and/or stability of your vehicle.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Please observe any country-specific regulations concerning vehicle
registration or operation as well as TUV regulations where appticable. If
required, register installed parts in the vehicle documents together with the
appropriate inspection authority.
PREPARATION: Read the mounting instructions carefully and make sure that all
parts are included. Make sure that your vehicle is parked safely and cannot
fall over. Turn off the engine and remove the ignition key. Let the
motor/exhaust cool off if necessary. Disconnect the vehicle battery when
working on the electrical system. Make sure to use only the appropriate tools.
During installation have another person help you.
MOUNTING: All parts and connections removed from the vehicle must be
reinstalled in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer specifications or
replaced by parts and hardware delivered by SW-MOTECH. Secure all threads,
unless otherwise specified, with medium-strong strength liquid thread locker.
If not otherwise defined by the vehicle manufacturer or SW-MOTECH, screws and
nuts must be tightened according to DIN/ISO specifications. After installation
make sure that all parts and hardware previously removed are properly
replaced.
FUNCTION CHECK: After installation also make sure that no moving parts are
obstructed and function of the vehicle is nat hindered in any way. Cables and
hoses must not rub and/or be pinched. Before starting to ride, perform a
comprehensive check of all functions. Regularly check (every 100 km) for the
proper seating of all parts and connections removed during installation.

MOUNTING
Attention: Before mounting check the dimensions of the templates to make sure
the scale is correct!
Cut out the templates carefully. Place the templates on the TRAX ADV Topcase
and fix them with adhesive tape, as shown in the drawing. Use a non-permanent
marker to
mark the five drill positions.
Check the distance between the marked drill positions with the templates. Now drill the holes from the outside into the TRAX ADV Topcase at the marked positions (borehole diameter 6,5 mm).
Mount the upper (1} and lower (2) Backrest onto the TRAX ADV Topcase, as shown
in the drawing.
ATTENTION: Use liquid thread locker! Tighten the screws as specified in
the parts list.
