Thank you for choosing the PICyPest Free Living Insect Killer Lantern2x. Please read the instruction manual carefully to ensure use of this product complies with all safety regulations.

The weatherproof unit is equipped with a blue UV lighting function and a zapping grid which kills bugs on contact. The LED lantern is suitable for illuminating the area in 3 levels of brightness: Low (60 lumens,) Medium (90 lumens,) and High (180 lumens.) The functions are operated independently, so you can use the lantern with or without the UV/Zapper.

The unit is solar powered or is micro USB rechargeable (cord not included in this purchase.) It is recommended that you place the unit away from you when using as a zapper to draw the insects towards the light.

This product is for indoor and outdoor use. Check the product frequently for accumulating debris/dead insects as it may contribute to fire. Do not bend electrical grid and do not attempt to make repairs on the unit. Call our customer service department at 1-800-799-7302 for assistance.

OPERATION

Before use, charge the unit via USB (4 hours) or in direct sun. Solar charging times vary based on sun brightness.

To turn the Lantern ON, simply press the button. Keep pressing to toggle through the 3 brightness modes. The same button shuts the Lantern OFF
To turn the UV/zapper ON, simply press the button. The same button shuts the UV/zapper OFF
Priorto cleaning the unit, turn the unit off. Gently spray canned air or a hair dryer on cool setting to blow away any accumulating debris if needed. Do not touch the electric grid.

CAUTION — High Voltage, Keep out of Reach of Children.
CAUTION — High Voltage, Power off unit before servicing.
CAUTION — Collected insects may be a fire hazard. Clean dead insects from the unitfrequently.
WARNING — Skin or eye damage may result from directly viewing the light produced by this apparatus.
CAUTION — ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD MAY EXIST IF WATER FROM A GARDEN HOSE IS DIRECTED AT UNIT WHILE IN OPERATION.
CAUTION — Do not stick foreign objects, metal objects or fingers into the unit.
CAUTION — Do not tamper with or modify unit.
CAUTION — Do not clean unit while it is powered on.
CAUTION — Before cleaning, allow unit to sit for at least 45 minutes to release charge from electric grid.
CAUTION – Do not clean or spray the unit with water, cleaning spray, or any other liquid.
CAUTION — Do not submerge unit in water or any liquid.
CAUTION — Keep out of contact with flammable items such as paper or clothing.
CAUTION — Do not use flammable liquids around unit.
