Thank you for choosing the PC Pest Free Living Mega Bug Zapper racket. Please
read the instruction manual carefully to ensure use of this product complies
with all safety regulations. The product is designed with metal grids built
into the racket head. Do not pinch or press the grids together. Do not put
objects or fingers through the racket face. Keep away from moisture. Do not
use in rain. Safe for indoor and outdoor use. Do not attempt to make repairs
on the unit. Call our customer service department at
1-800-799-7302 for assistance. This is
not a toy. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS:
The unit requires 2AA batteries, not included in this purchase. Do not mix old
and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard, or rechargeable batteries.
After inserting batteries, testthe power by pushing and holding the button on
handle. Holding the button illuminates the red light indicating the electrical
grid is activated. Grid shuts off after button is released, however, there may
be temporary residual energy remaining. Replace batteries when light no longer
turns on.
NEVER HANDLE THE PRODUCT BY METAL GRIDS.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE AS A ZAPPER:
Safely aim the metal grid surface attlying insects while pressing and holding the trigger button to activate the electrical grid and swing. Making contact with the insect should kill the insecton contact. Do notswing nextto people or animals. Do not press the power button when using the bottle opener.
CLEANING:
As bugs make contact, particles may accumulate in the rackettace.To clean,
remove the batteries and allowthe unitto sitfor at least45 minutes to release
charge from electric grid. Use vacuum or soft, dry, non-metallic brush to
remove any debris. Frequent cleaning will provide for more efficient use.
Changes or modifications not expresslyapproved bythe party responsible for
compliance could void the user’s authority to operate this device. This device
complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subjectto the following
two conditions: (1 ) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2)this device must accept any interference received, including interference
that may cause undesired operation.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to complywith the
limitsfor a Class B digital device, pursuantto Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses,
and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
– Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
– Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
– Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to
which the receiver is connected.
– Consultthe dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

CAUTION — To reduce the risk of tire, remove insects frequently.
CAUTION – Collected insects maybe afire hazard. Clean dead insects from the
unit frequently.
CAUTION – ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD MAY EXIST IF WATER IS DIRECTED AT UNIT WHILE
IN OPERATION.
CAUTION – Do not stick foreign objects, metal objects or fingers into the
electrical grid.
CAUTION – Do nottamper with or modify unit. CAUTION-Do not clean unit while it
is powered on.
CAUTION – Before cleaning, allow unit to sitf or at least 45 minutes to
release charge from electric grid.
CAUTION – Do not clean or spray the unit with water, cleaning spray, or
anyother liquid. Do not use or leave in rain.
CAUTION – Do not submerge unit in water or any liquid.
CAUTION-Do not operate unit near flammable liquids.
