LENNOX 23C01 Constant Torque Motor Replacement Kit
Shipping and Packing List
Package 1 of 1 contains:
- 1 – Constant torque motor
- 1 – Ensite adapter harness
- 2 – Zip ties
Application
Use kits 23C01, 23C02, 23C03 and 23C04 to replace the indoor blower motor in E model furnaces.
WARNING
Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service or maintenance can
cause property damage, personal injury or loss of life. Installation and
service must be performed by a licensed professional HVAC installer or
equivalent, service agency, or the gas supplier
CAUTION
As with any mechanical equipment, contact with sharp sheet metal edges can
result in personal injury. Take care while handling this equipment and wear
gloves and protective clothing.
Installation
- Shut off power to the furnace.
- Remove the access panel(s)
- If the replacement motor has a 3 pin and a 6 pin as shown in figure 1 disregard the adapter and plug the harness straight into the replacement motor. Return power to the furnace and reinstall the access panel.
- If the replacement motor does not have a 3 and 6 pin the adapter harness must be installed.
- Install the adapter between the integrated control harness and indoor blower harness. See figure 2.
- Secure the harness to the integrated control board using one of the provided zip ties as shown in figure 2. Secure remaing slack with the second zip tie as shown in fingure 3.
- Return power to the furnace.
- Follow the start-up procedure found on the inside of the access panel.
