INSTALLATION

  1.  Once the head unit removed from the dashboard, disconnect the vehicles power connector before installation.
  2. Select a suitable location for the camera and ensure that the area is free from any/all cabling, fuel or oil. Where possible, avoid locations subject to road dirt and water spray.
  3. Feed the relevant RCA connection to the dashboard of the vehicle and attach them to the corresponding connection on the CAM-MB8-AD interface harness.
  4. Further interface harness connections needed are the selected camera’s power wire and a source of 12v power (this normally accessed via the reverse light).
  5. Once fully populated, connect the white connector on the interface harness to the CAM-MB8-AD interface box.
  6.  Connect the Yellow (12V) and Black (Ground) wires from the Power/CAN harness to pre-existing connections within the vehicle. When these are populated, connect this to the CAM-MB8-AD interface box.
  7. Connect the Green and Pink LVDS connections on the supplied harness to the CAM-MB8-AD interface box. When done, plug the vehicles pre-existing LVDS to the brown female LVDS connector. Subsequently, attach the male LVDS connection on the supplied harness to the head unit.
  8. Re-attach the head units power connector and test the camera connection. Turn on the ignition and put the vehicle into reverse. The camera feed will populate on screen with parking guidelines.
If camera feed is unresponsive, please uninstall the wiring and reinstall carefully in accordance with the above steps
