FITTING GUIDE

Remove and disconnect the original head unit.

Connect the 12 way mo l ex connector of the head un i t patch l ead (supp l i ed separately) to the interface.

Connect the opposi te end of head un i t patch l ead to the head un i t steeri ng wheel control input on the back of the aftermarket head unit.
NB:Thismay be a 3.5mm jack plug or a wire input depending upon the head unit brand being fitted. Pleasesee the head unit installationmanual for further information on where to connect.
Important: Thisstepmust be completed before connecting power to the interface. Failure to so do may result in no steering wheel control function. -
Connect the 14 way molex connector to the interface

Connect the male power/speaker ISOharnessto the female power/speaker ISOharnessfrom the aftermarket head unit. For aftermarket head unitswithout an ISO connector, please refer to “Wiring Colour Codes” on Pg.2.

Connect the female vehicle specific connectorson the harnessto the male vehicle connector from the vehicle.

Connect the ch i me speaker box to the loom via the 4 pin connector and the red/ white RCA connectorsto the stereo Aux Input.

Remove the car displayconnector from the vehicle and plug into the interface (please remove the dust cover from the interface before making the connection).

Connect the display connector from the loom to the vehicle (the port previously occupied by the car display connector, removed in Step 8.)
Testhead unit for correct operation.

SETTING THETIME/DATE
- PressSpeech to turn on the vehicle display
- Pressand hold Speech for two secondsto enable menu mode
- PressVolume +/- to navigate to the clock setting menu option and pressSpeech to confirm selection
- Adust the time using Volume +/- and pressSpeech to confirm
- Follow the same processto adjust the date
- Once time and date have been set,pressSpeech to confirm
NB:Themenu option will time out after 15-20secondsof inactivity
