  5. Put the juice bag (9) with the shredded fruit in the barrel, so that it hangs out over the edge. Press down the fruit by hand. Harder fruit such as apples and pears should be cut into small pieces or ideally be run in a fruit grinder or crusher before it is put in the bag.
    FIg. 6

  6. Place the semicircular wooden plates (7) over the fruit, centred in relation to the barrel. Place the wooden blocks (6) on top (if there is space) and then place the assembled press plates (4) and (5) over, lengthwise in relation to the wooden plates.
    FIg. 7

  7. Put the nylon washer (3) over the press plates as shown in the diagram. Screw on the press nut (2), insert the handle in the press nut, and turn the handle (1) clockwise to feed down the press plates and press the fruit in the barrel. Menuett 011242 6L 6kg Juicer FIG 8

  8. If there is space the second pair of supplied wooden blocks can be put in, so that the wooden plates come as close as possible to the base of the juicer. If the handle reaches the barrel and the press plates still need to be lowered, screw up the press nut and fill with more fruit,
or place the wooden blocks between the wooden plates and the press plates. Wooden blocks are sold separately or can be made from pieces of wood sawn to a suitable size. Place a container under the spout in the base (13) to collect the juice. Menuett 011242 6L 6kg Juicer FIG 9

  1. Dismantle the juicer by removing the handle from the press nut.
  2. Unscrew the press nut from the threaded rod.
  3. Remove all the wooden blocks and press plates.
  4. The barrel can now be lifted off the base.
