Introduction

1.1 Product Description
The product is a fruit and mushroom dryer with 5 trays and a digital display.
1.2 Intended use
The product is intended to dry vegetables, herbs, fish, meat, berries, fruit, and mushrooms. The product is only intended for household use. Do not use the product for other tasks.

2.1 Safety instructions for operation
Warning! If you do not obey these instructions, there is a risk of death or injury.

  • Read and understand the instructions before you use the product.
  • Put the product on a heat-resistant and level surface during operation.
  • Do not use the product for more than 40 minutes constant. Let the product become cool after 40 minutes of constant use. Stop the product and pull out the power plug.
  • Use the product correctly. Incorrect use can result in personal injury and material damage.
  • Stop the product and pull out the power plug when the product is not in use. Pull the plug, not the power cord.
  • Do not let the base of the product become wet. Do not use a wet product.
  • Do not use a damaged product. Do not use the product if the power cord is damaged.
  • Let an approved service center repair the product if it is damaged.
  • Do not let nonapproved persons operate the product unless an approved person has given them instructions and is responsible for their safety.
  • Stay close to the product during operation. Make sure that no children or animals go near the product.
  • Do not cover the product.
  • Do not put the product near a hot stove or in a hot oven.
  • Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or a workspace.

Operation

3.1 To do before the first operation

  • Clean all parts with a damp cloth.
  • Make sure that no parts are damaged.
  • Make sure that the trays fit correctly in the product.

3.2 To set up the product

  1. Put the product on a heat-resistant and level surface.
  2. Connect the power plug to a wall outlet.

3.3 To start the product

  • Press the On/Off/Time button (5) to start the product. (Figure 1)

3.4 To stop the product
Note! The product will stop according to the time that is set.

  1. Press the On/Off/Time button (5) to stop the product before the timer stops the product. (Figure 1)
  2. Pull out the power plug when the product is not in use.

3.5 To use the product

  1. Set up the product. Refer to “3.2 To set up the product” on page 11.
  2. Prepare the food to be dried. Refer to “3.5.1 To prepare the food” on page 12.
  3. Put the food on the trays. If it is necessary, use drying sheets.
  4. Put the trays in the product. Make sure that they fit correctly.
  5. Press the On/Off/Time button (5) to start the product. (Figure 1)
  6. Set the correct time and temperature. Refer to “3.6 To set the temperature and time” on page 12.

3.5.1 To prepare the food

  • Make sure that the food is of good quality.
  • Make sure that the fruit and vegetables are not overripe. Cut off damaged and discolored parts of the fruit before you dry it.
  • Make sure to clean the food before you dry it.
  • Peel fruit before you dry it.
  • If the texture of the vegetables is hard, steam or parboil the vegetables before you dry them.

3.6 To set the temperature and time

  1. Press the On/Off/Time button (5) to start the product(Figure 1)
  2. When the display shows 00.00, press the On/Off/Time button and set the time.
  3. Press the button for temperature (6) and set the temperature. For temperature range refer to “7 Technical data” on page 12.

Note! The effect is lower at the top of the product than at the bottom of the product.
3.6.1 To do a check on the dryness of the food

  • Make sure that the fruit is tough and leathery with a low content of sugar (max 20%).
  • Do not dry the fruit too long. That can cause the fruit to lose taste and nutritional value.
  • Make sure that the vegetables are crispy and have light chewing resistance.

Note! Different vegetables have different textures.

Maintenance

4.1 To clean the product
Note! All parts except the base can be cleaned in a dishwasher.

  • Stop the product and pull out the power cord before cleaning the product. Refer to “3.4 To stop the product” on page 12.
  • Clean with a damp cloth and wipe dry.

Storage

  • Keep the product in its original packaging, in a dry and clean area.

Disposal

6.1 To discard the product
Make sure that you follow the local regulations when you discard the product. Do not burn the product.
