SAFETY INSTRUCTION

Read the operating instructions carefully before use.

DESCRIPTION

  • Functions
  • Indicate the volume of water and milk
  • Can switch between two weight unit systems: g/lb: oz (grams or pound: ounce)
  • Can switch between two weight unit systems: ml/fl oz (ml/fluid ounces)

TO INSTALL OR REPLACE THE BATTERY

The battery type used in the scale depends on the product structure. 1x 3V CR2032 lithium batteries (included). Remove the isolation sheet before use.

  • Open the battery case cover at the bottom of the scale.
  • Take out the used battery with the aid of a sharp object, as shown.
  • Install the new battery by putting one side of the battery beneath the battery baffle, then pressing down the other side.

UNIT CONVERSION BUTTON
At the bottom of scale, you can find a unit conversion button as shown.

TO SWITCH BETWEEN WEIGHT UNITS
If the scale has both unit systems: Metric (g, ml) or Imperial (lb:0z, fl oz), press the MODE button to choose the working mode (weight, milk volume, water volume). Next, press the unit conversion button to switch between the two systems. Take the conversion of weight unit for example:

  • When setting g as weight unit, the default volume unit is ml;
  • When setting lb:oz as weight unit, the default volume unit is fl oz.

Note: The scale’s unit system depends on the final sales destination or distributor requirements.

OPERATION

TO START WEIGHING

Weight mode
Place the scale on a solid and flat surface. Place bowl (if used) on the scale before turning on the scale. Press “ON/OFF” to enter weighing mode. Wait until the LCD shows all information. Place the item to be weighed on the scale. The LCD will show the weight of the item. If the item to be weighed is water or milk, press the MODE button to choose volume mode. The scale will then show the volume of the liquid.

Place the scale on a solid and flat surface. Press “ON/OFF” to turn on the scale. Wait until the LCD shows “0”, then press the MODE button to choose “Water” or “Milk” mode. Put a container with liquid onto the scale. Press the ZERO button to reset the LCD to “o’ Pour liquid (water or milk) into the container. The LCD shows the volume of the liquid. Press the MODE button to choose “Weight” mode and view the weight of the liquid.

“ZERO” OR “TARE” FUNCTION
To weigh different loads consecutively without removing loads from the scale. Put the first item to be weighed on the scale, then obtain its weight reading. Press the ZERO button to reset the LCD reading to “o” before adding the next load. Repeat this operation as required.

Condition 1: “ZERO” function

When the total sum of all loads on the scale is s4% of the scale’s max. weight capacity.   (4%=80 g when capacity is 2000 g, 200 g when capacity is5000 g)The LCD will show”-” or “Og” each time ZERO is pressed. “-” means Not stable, please wait for a moment. If the displayshows “Og” with an “o” also showing in the lower left corner ofthe LCD, this means that the “ZERO” function is active. The max. weight capacity remains unchanged.

Condition 2: “TARE” function

When the total sum of all loads on the scale is > 4% of the scale’s max. weight capacity.  (4% = 80 g when capacity is 2000 g; 200 g when capacity is5000 g.) The LCD will show”-“or “Og” each time ZERO is pressed. -“means Not stable, please wait for a moment. If the display shows “og with a “T” (tare) also showing in the upper left corner of the LCD, this means that the “Tare” function is active. The max. weight capacity is reduced by the total weight of all loads.

In this mode:
By pressing ZERO, you can see the total weight of all items on the scale. If you want to weigh more items, just press ZERO to reset the LCD reading to “o” again.

AUTO SHUT-OFF

Auto shut-off occurs if the display shows “0” or shows the same weight reading for 2 minutes.
MANUAL SHUT-OFF

To maximize battery life, always turn off the scale after use by pressing ON/OFF. Note: when the display shows “o”, press “ON/OFF” to turn off the scale; when the display shows a weight reading, press and holds “ON/OFF” for 3 seconds to turn off the scale.
WARNING INDICATORS

  1. Replace the battery.
  2. Scale Overload. Remove items to avoid damage.

The max. weight capacity is indicated on the scale.

MAINTENANCE

  • Clean the scale with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the scale in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
  • All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fats, spices, vinegar, and strongly flavored/colored foods. Avoid contact with acids and citrus juices.
  • Always use the scale on a hard, flat surface. Do not use on carpet.
