SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
The plug must be plugged into a correctly installed and earthed power point. -
This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are more than eight years old, and are kept under supervision.

Keep the product and its power cord out of the reach of children under eight years of age.

Maintain the product in accordance with the instructions.

Only use as a rug or bedspread.

Do not use in immediate contact with the body.

Do not put the product under the mattress or the body – it must lie over the bed or the person.

Do not stick pins or needles in the product.

Make sure that the product and power cord do not get caught or trapped.

Check the product regularly for wear and damage. Do not attempt to repair the power cord or the control unit. Contact an authorised service centre if the product is damaged.

The product gets hot when in use. Never use the product if you are tired. Avoid falling asleep during use.

Never cover the control unit.

Never leave the product unattended when switched on. Pull out the plug when you have finished.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
- Do not expose the power cord or plug to water or any other liquid.
- Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid when the plug is plugged in.
- Do not use the product near a bath, shower, wash basin or swimming pool.
- Do not touch the product with wet hands or any other part of the body, or when standing on a wet surface.
- Do not place the product on wet surface.
- Do not use the product outdoors.
- Keep the power cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
- Make sure that the cord is hanging freely and is not folded or twisted.
- The cord must not be stretched tight enough to bend the blanket connection.
- Route the power cord so that there is no risk of tripping over it.

Prolonged use can result in a risk of serious burn injuries, especially at high temperature settings. -
Pull out the plug before cleaning and fitting/ removing accessories, if there is problem, and after use.

USE
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
- Remove all the packaging material and save it for future requirements.
- The first time the electric blanket is used it may smell a little. This is completely normal and soon stops.
IMPORTANT:
Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children – risk of
suffocation.
HOW TO USE
The electric blanket has sex temperature settings for best comfort. The
blanket consists of three layers, of which the two surface layers consist of
soft microfibres of high quality.
Thanks to this easy to care for material and the removeable control unit the
electric blanket can be washed by hand or in a washing machine at no more than
30°C.
- When used as a rug the thermal blanket must be placed over the person on top of a sheet, not on the mattress under the person.
- The thermal blanket must not be used in immediate contact with the body.
- The control unit must be easily accessible for the user.
- The control unit must be open and easily accessible.
- It must not be put under a duvet or pillow etc., and must not be exposed to pressure.
Temperature
The blanket has six temperature settings as indicated below.

NOTE:
- Only use the supplied control unit.
- The actual temperature is affected by the surroundings and can deviate by ± 5°C.
Timer
The control unit switches off the blanket automatically after three hours.
Pull out the plug when the blanket is not in use.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
- Pull out the plug and allow the blanket to cool completely before cleaning.
- Clean the blanket with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent. Allow to dry completely before use or storage.
- The thermal blanket can be machinewashed, but will last longer if handwashed or wiped clean. For machine washing:
- Disconnect the control unit.
- Put the blanket into a wash bag.
- Use a gentle-wash cycle (max 30°C) and a small amount of mild detergent.
- Remove the blanket from the wash bag and allow to drip-dry on a washing line or lying on a moisture absorbing surface.
- Connect the control unit when the blanket is thoroughly dry. Only use the supplied control unit.
WARNING!
- Do not expose the control unit to water or any other liquid, this can damage the blanket.
- Do not use clothes pegs or the equivalent.
- The thermal blanket must not be dry-cleaned. This can damage the heater element.
- Do not wring the thermal blanket.
- Do not tumble-dry.
- Do not iron.
- Do not use solvent.
- Do not dry with a hair dryer or similar heater.
- Do not connect the blanket to the mains to dry it.
- Allow the blanket to self-dry.
- Do not use the blanket if it is not completely dry.
- Do not dry the blanket in the sun.
STORAGE
- Always allow the blanket to cool before folding and putting away.
- Store the blanket in a clean and dry place.
- Do not put any objects on top of the blanket, this could damage the electric wires.
Care for the environment!
Recycle discarded product in accordance with local regulations.
