SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- The product is only intended for household use.
- Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
- Place the product on a stable and level surface, out of the reach of children, to avoid the product tipping over -risk of scalding.
- Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or to come into contact with hot surfaces.
- Do not put the product on or near a hot stove or in a hot oven.
- Do not use the product without water, this will damage the heating element.
- Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or the product in water or any other liquid -risk of fire, electric shock and/or personal injury.
- Avoid contact with hot steam flowing out of the spout while the water is being heated or has just started to boil. Do not open the lid.
- Pour boiling water slowly and carefully- do not tilt the kettle quickly, or too much.
- Allow the kettle to cool before filling with water
- Keep the product under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle and buttons.
- Do not use the product outdoors.
- Do not use accessories other than those recommended or sold by the manufacturer. The use of other accessories can result in fire, electric shock and/or personal injury.
- Pull out the plug before cleaning and when the product is not in use. Allow the product to cool before cleaning or replacing parts.
- Close the lid before boiling and do not open the lid when the water is hot – risk of scalding.
- If the power cord or plug are damaged they must be replaced by an authorised service centre to ensure safe use.
- This product can be used by
children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision.
- The product is not intended to be used by persons (children or adults) with any form of functional disorders I or by persons who do not have sufficient experience or knowledge on how to use it, unless they have received instructions concerning the use of the product from someone who is responsible for their safety.
- Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product.
- The product is intended for kitchen and household use for example in:
- Stff kitchens in shops, offices and other similar workplaces.
- Manor houses, agricultural buildings and private homes.
- Hotel or motel rooms and other similar accommodation.
- Youth hostels.

Warming
Press the button for three seconds to switch to warming.
FEATURES Detection function
- When the kettle is put on the base plate all four status lights on the control panel go on an audio prompt is given.
- The status light in the kettle goes on in the sequence red, green, blue and then goes off, at the same time as another audio prompt is given.
Colour coded temperature status
The status light in the kettle goes on with different colours depending on the
temperature of the water:
- 50°C (green).
- 70°( (blue).
- 80°C (violet).
- 90° C (pale green).
- 100°c (red).
USE
BEFORE USE
Before using for the first time, or if the kettle has not been used for a long
time, pay attention to the following:
- Fill the kettle to the MAX marking and boil up.
- Pour out the water, and repeat. NOTE:
The kettle holds
- Put the kettle on a level and stable surface.
- Lift the kettle off the base, press the lock button to open the lid, fill with the required amount of water and close the lid. The kettle can also be filled through the spout. Fill to at least the MIN marking, but do not fill above the MAX marking on the level indicator. If there is too little water in the kettle it will switch off before the water boils.
- Put the kettle on the base plate and plug the plug into a power point.
- Press the button “100°(“. The kettle heats the water up to 100° c
- The status lights on the control panel are off during the heating and the status light in the kettle goes red. The status light in the kettle goes off when the temperature of the water reaches 100° c and two audio prompts are given.
- Lift the kettle off the base and pour out the water.
- The kettle remains switched off until started again using the power switch. The kettle can be kept on the base when not in use.
- Do not overfill – risk of splashing. Never fill the kettle over the MAX marking.
- Check that the lid is properly closed before plugging in the plug.
- The base can be turned 360 degrees to simplify plugging into a power point.
- Handle the kettle carefully and do not open the lid when it contains hot water
- risk of scalding.
- Pull out the plug when the kettle is not in use.
Keeping warm at the set temperature
- Fill the kettle with water, put in on the base and press the “+/-” button to set the keep warm temperature (50, 70, 80 or 90° ().
- The status light for the set temperature goes on. Press the “100 ° C” button for three seconds.
- The kettle heats the water to the set temperature. An audio prompt is given when the set temperature is reached, the status light for the set temperature flashes with 1 Hz and the product switches to keep warm mode.
- The kettle keeps the water at the set temperature for 30 minutes. The kettle then switches off automatically and all the status lights go off.
NOTE:
Check that the power switch can move freely and that the lid is properly closed. The kettle will not switch off if the power switch is blocked or the lid is open.
BOIL-DRY PROTECTION
The boil-dry protection prevents the kettle from starting when there is no water in the jug. If the boil-dry protection trips, allow the kettle to cool, fill up with cold water and switch on again.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
- Switch off the kettle, pull out the plug and allow the kettle to cool before cleaning.
- Wipe the kettle with a soft, damp cloth.
IMPORTANT:
- Do not use abrasive detergents or utensils on the kettle or any part of it, this can scratch the surface.
- Do not immerse the kettle, power cord, plug or base in water or any other liquid.
DESCALING
Descale the kettle regularly for best functionality. Follow the instructions
of the manufacturer if using a special descaling agent.
The kettle can also be descaled with a mixture of equal parts of water and
vinegar as follows.
- Pour enough of the vinegar mixture in the kettle to cover the heating element. Leave the liquid in the kettle overnight.
- Pour out the vinegar mixture, fill the kettle to the MAX mark with clean water, boil up, and pour out the water. Repeat several times, until the smell of vinegar disappears. Any stains in the spout can be removed with a damp cloth.
STORAGE
The power cord can be stored in the storage compartment in the base.
WASTE DISPOSAL
Recycle the kettle at the end of its useful life in accordance with local
regulations.
