OPERATION

Inserting the batteries
The battery compartment is located under the roof of the locomotive. Remove the screw holding the roof and insert 4 x 7.5 V AA batteries. The batteries are sold separately.

NOTE:
Use alkaline batteries for best results. Only use new batteries of the correct type. Remove the batteries when the product is not going to be used for some time. If the product does not work normally, check that the batteries are not spent and have been inserted correctly. Test using new batteries.

Assemble the track and start the locomotive

  1. Replace the locomotive roof and secure it with the screw.

  2. Place the whistle in the hole on top of the locomotive and fit the front pilot. Apply the enclosed decals to the light fields on the sides of the locomotive.

  3. Connect the track sections to form a ring by pressing the pins at the end of one track section into the holes in the next section. Place the track on a flat, firm surface.

  4. Place the locomotive facing anti-clockwise on the track and check that all the wheels rest properly on the track.

  5. Couple the locomotive and wagons.

  6. Make sure that the locomotive and wagons are positioned correctly on the track.

  7. Select the required pattern with the switch. The locomotive can be run with or without music, depending on in which way the switch is moved. The locomotive is switched off when the switch is in the middle position.

  8. The train runs, with sound, lights and music for 15 minutes, stops for 5 minutes and then
    starts again.

  9. Put the switch in the OFF position when the product is not in use. Remove the batteries if the product is not going to be used for some time.
