HOW TO USE
· Read this user manual in its entirety before using the product.
· The StapleMaster plastic welding gun is used to repair cracks in hard and
thick plastic (thicker than 1.5 mm).
· Find the spot you wish to weld together and clean it.
· Identify what type of area is it. There are four different staples included
in the package for different surfaces. See the picture below:
1. This type of staple is used for repairing outer corners.
2. This type of staple is used for repairing inner corners.
3. This type of staple is used to repair thin cracks.
4. This type of staple is used to repair wide and complex cracks.
· After you have chosen the most suitable staple for your repair, take the
welding gun out of the box and plug it into an electrical outlet.
· Place the staple into the metal rods on the gun as shown in the previous
picture.
· Press and hold the trigger on the welding gun. This will heat the staple and
make it glow red. The handy light on the gun will also illuminate the area you
want to staple.
· Push the staple into the plastic and twist it a bit so that it can’t be
pulled out easily. Make sure that the piece you are repairing is held by a
vice or similar tool do not hold it in your hands while you work.
· Stop holding the trigger and let the staple cool down a bit so that it stays
inside the plastic.
· Remove the welding gun from the staple. At this point it should come off
easily.
· Repeat this process as many times you need to complete your repair.
· After you’re done welding, unplug the welding gun and let it cool down
before storing it in the box.
· Take the included pliers and cut off any parts of the staples that are still
sticking out of the plastic. We also recommend sanding the remains with
sandpaper or a file for a smooth finish.
