SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • For outdoor use.
  • Do not connect two or more timers together.
  • Do not connect appliances that need a current of more than 8 A.
  • Do not connect appliances with an output of more than 1800 W.
  • Always check that the plug on the connected appliance is fully inserted into the socket on the timer.
  • If the timer needs cleaning, unplug it from the mains and wipe it with a dry cloth.
  • Do not immerse the timer in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not connect heaters and other similar equipment to the timer.
  • Check that the appliance to be controlled is switched off before plugging it into the timer.

IMPORTANT:
The timer must be placed in a vertical position to maintain the protection rating IP44.

USE

BUTTON FUNCTIONS:

CLOCK:

  • Press CLOCK to switch from programming mode to show the time.
  • Press CLOCK together with SET to set the time and weekday.
  • Press CLOCK together with v-to switch to summertime.

CDL:
Press CD to start/stop countdown in AUTO mode.

RND:
Press RND to start/stop the random function in AUTO mode.

ON/OFF;
Press ON/OFF to switch between ON, AUTO and OFF. Every time the button is pressed the horizontal line moves between the markings ON-AUTO-OFF on the casing.

SET:
Press SET to set the time and weekday or to confirm the setting.

A+:
Press/\+ to increase the value when setting program, time or weekday.

V-:
Press v-to decrease the value when setting program, time or weekday.S

S:
Press at the same time CLOCK and v-to switch to summertime. The time is set automatically forward 1 hour and Sis showed in the display.

RESET:
PressRESET once to reset all program settings. If the display is empty, plug the timer into a PowerPoint and press RESET.

TIME DISPLAYING:
The time can be shown with 12 or 24 hours display

  1.  12 hour displaying: The digits 00:00 to 12:00 are shown in the display together med AM or PM.
  2.  24 hour displaying: The digits 00:00 to 23:59 are shown in the display (AM/PM not shown).
  3.  To switch between 12 and 24-hour displays, press CLOCK until the display changes. Press CLOCK again to return to the original display mode.

NOTE:
The timer battery is fully charged when the timer has been plugged into a powerpoint for two hours. If the display is empty, plug the timer into a PowerPoint and press RESET.

SETTING THE WEEKDAY AND TIME

Setting the weekday

  1. Press SET until the weekday starts to flash.

  2.  Press A+ to increase the value, or v-to decrease the value as per: Mo➔Tu➔we➔Th➔Fr➔Sa➔Su➔

  3.  Press the buttons A+ /v- once to step. Keep pressing the button to step faster. Release the button when the required value is shown in the display. Press SET to confirm.

Setting the time

  1.  When the weekday has been set the value for hours starts flashing ..
  2. Press A+ to increase the value, or v-to decrease.
  3.  Press A+ /v- once to step. Keep pressing the button to step faster. Release the button when the required value is shown in the display. Press SET to confirm.
  4.  The value for minutes flashes. Set the minutes in the same way as the hours above.

Switching to summertime:

  1.  Press at the same time CLOCK and v-to switch to summertime. The time is set automatically forward 1 hour and Sis shown in the display.
  2.  Press at the same time CLOCK and v-to switch back to normal time.

NOTE:
The display must be in time mode when setting the weekday and time. If the display is in program settings mode, press the CLOCK button to switch to time mode.

PROGRAMME SETTINGS:

  1.  When the display is in time mode, press A+ once to switch to program settings mode -10N is shown on the bottom left of the display.
    1 is the program number (possible values are 1 to 14).
    ON indicates weekday and time to start.
    OFF indicates weekday and time to stop.

  2. Set a higher program number and ON or OFF with the button A+ as per: 10N➔10FF➔ … 200N➔200FF➔ d ON/OFF (for countdown) ➔.

  3. Set a lower program number and ON or OFF with the button v- as per: ON/OFF (for countdown) ➔200FF➔200N➔ … 10FF➔10N➔.

  4.  Set the required program number and then set weekday and time. Press SET until the weekday flashes. Press repeatedly the button/\+. The display changes as per:

  5. Press v- to step in the reverse order to the above.

  6.  Press A+ /v- once to step. Keep pressing the button to step faster. Release the button when the required value is shown in the display. Press SET to confirm. The display of weekdays stops flashing.

  7. When the weekday has been set the value for hours starts flashing .. Set the time as per the instructions in the section for setting the time.

  8.  Repeat steps 2 to 7 to set more programs.

NOTE:
When the required program settings are ready, press CLOCK to return to time mode. The display returns to time mode after 15 seconds if no buttons are pressed.

SEETlNG THE COUNTDOWN:

  1.  When the display is in time mode, pressN v- once to switch to countdown settings mode. d ON (or d OFF) is shown on the bottom left of the display.
    d indicates that countdown mode is active
    ON indicates time to start.
    OFF indicates time to stop.

  2.  Press SET until ON/OFF flashes.

  3.  Press A+ /v- to select ON or OFF and press SET to confirm.

  4. The value for hours flashes. Set the required value with A+ /v- and press SET to confirm.

  5.  The value for minutes flashes. Set the required value with /\+/v- and press SET to confirm.

  6. The value for seconds flashes. Set the required value with A+/v- and press SET to confirm. The possible values are 99:59:59 seconds to 1 second.

  7.  Plug the timer into a PowerPoint and set to AUTO mode to start/stop the countdown function.

  8.  Press CD once to start the countdown. CD flashes in the bottom left of the display to show that the countdown is in progress. Press CD again to stop the countdown.

NOTE:

  • If the display is in time mode during the countdown, press v- to show data for the countdown.
  • When the required program settings are ready, press CLOCK to return to time mode. The display returns to time mode after 15 seconds if no buttons are pressed.

RANDOM FUNCTION:

  1.  The random function starts and stops the connected appliance randomly.
    Shortest time switched off: 26 minutes
    Longest time switched off:42 minutes
    Shortest time switched on: 10 minutes
    Longest time switched on: 26 minutes

  2.  Plug the timer into a PowerPoint and set to AUTO mode to start/stop the random function.

  3.  Press RND to activate the random function. The time switched off is from 26 to 42 minutes and the time switched on is from 10 to 26 minutes.

  4.  Deactivate the random function by pressing red once.

  5.  The random function disregards program settings for start and stop.

DISREGARDING/RESUMPTION OF PROGRAMME SETTINGS
Press the ON/OFF button to disregard/resume program settings.

  • ON: Disregards program settings, the connected appliance is on all the time.
  • AUTO: The connected appliance starts and stops according to the program settings.
  • OFF: Disregards program settings, the connected appliance is off all the time.

NOTE:

  • Program settings and random functions are only active in AUTO mode.
  •  Program settings and random functions are not active in countdown mode.
  •  Program settings and countdown function are not active in random function mode.

CONNECTION

  1. Set the required program settings as described.
  2.  Switch of the appliance to be controlled.
  3.  Plug the appliance into the timer and plug the timer into a power point.
  4. Start the appliance.
  5.  The appliance starts and stops according to the timer settings if disregard is not activated.
