USE
BEFORE USE
- Unpack the product and all the parts from the packaging and place them on a level surface as shown.
- Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate. Plug in the plug. The product is now ready to use.
IMPORTANT:
- Do not place the product near walls or corners, where incoming or outgoing air can be blocked.
- Do not place the product directly below a power outlet.
START
Start the product by pressing the on/off button (4) on the control panel. The product starts in full power mode and the status light for full power goes on.
NOTE:
The first time the product is used it may emit some fumes or smell. This is quite normal and is because the heating element has a protective coating from the manufacturing. This coating quickly vapourises and any vapour and smell disappear.
FUNCTION SETTINGS
Switch between the different functions by pressing repeatedly on the function selector button (6) on the control panel: normal mode, low → energy saving mode ECO → normal mode, full power.
TEMPERATURE SETTING
Start the product and then tap the temperature setting button (5) on the control panel to set the required temperature (set point temperature). The temperature interval can be set from 18 to 30°C. When the room temperature (actual temperature) reaches the set temperature (set point temperature) the heating switches off and the power level indicator flashes for 15 seconds and then returns to normal mode. When the room temperature drops below the set temperature the heating starts again.
TIMER FUNCTION
Timed start
To set start from 0 to 7 hours, tap the timer button on the control panel when the product is in standby mode.
Timed switching off
To set switching off from 0 to 7 hours, tap the timer button on the control panel when the product is running.
OSCILLATION MODE
To start or switch off the oscillation function, tap the button for oscillation mode (8) when the product is running.
WARNING FOR CONDUCTOR FAULT/ SHORT CIRCUIT
- If there is a conductor fault in the temperature sensor circuit the status light on the product will flash “1h” continuously, irrespective of the status of the product, and the buzzer will emit 10 long signals.
- If there is a short circuit in the temperature sensor circuit the status light will flash “2 h” continuously and the buzzer will emit 10 long signals.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION
If the ambient temperature exceeds 50°C the product will switch off
automatically.
The status lights “1h”, “2h” and “4h” flash continuously and the buzzer emits
10 long Signals if any button is pressed. When the ambient temperature has
dropped below 50°C the overheating protection can be reset by switching off
the power supply and then connecting it again.
TIP-OVER PROTECTION
If the product tips over it will switch off automatically, the status lights “1h” and “2h” will flash continuously, and the buzzer emit 10 long signals. When the product is lifted up it must be switched off and then reset with the power switch button before it can be used asnormal again.
ENERGY SAVING MODE ECO
When starting the energy saving mode ECO the set point temperature is as standard set to 24°C. The product selects the power mode automatically on the basis of the difference between the room temperature (actual temperature) and the set temperature (set point temperature).
