GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read this manual thoroughly before you start using the Soundbar.
Store this manual, the completed warranty card, your receipt and the product
packaging. The safety precautions instructions reduces the risk of fire,
electric shock and injury when correctly complied to.
Please follow all instructions and take notice of all warnings.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Only using furniture that can safely support the Products.
- Ensure the Product is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
- Do not place the product on a high furniture without securing both the furniture and the product to a stable support.
- Do not place the product on cloth or other conductive materials.
- Warn children of the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the soundbar or its controls and to call for an adult to assist.
- Do not expose this product to rain or moisture as it may result in fire or an electric shock hazard
- Do not temper or change or modify the product in any way.
- Only use Accessories outlined and recommended by the manufacturer.
- Please do not expose the product to splashing or water contact
- Please do not place any object on top of the product
Please follow instruction when installing this product in accordance with the
instruction manual. This product must be positioned in a sufficiently stable
location, it can be potentially hazardous due to falling when mounted and can
cause injury, particularly to children if it positioned incorrectly.
- Before installing this Soundbar, make sure your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the power supply rating label
- The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the product. Dry location use only.
- No naked flame source, such as candles, should be placed on the product.
- Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings.
- Do not plug several devices into the same outlet. Doing so may cause the outlet to overheat and start a fire. Make sure the outlet is readily accessible during operation of the equipment.

- Unplug the Soundbar during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. Not doing so may result in fire or electric shock.
- Do not cover the ventilation openings of the product with items such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains etc. Do not insert objects into the slots available on the products. As this could result in the product being damaged and could cause a fire.
- If you notice any unusual odors or smoke around the unit, immediately disconnect the unit from the outlet and contact the service center. Failure to do so may result in fire or electric shock.
- When not using the unit for long periods of time or when you are moving the unit please ensure to disconnect the power supply from the wall socket.
- Please beware that dust could accumulate over time on the unit and cause it to generate heat and or deteriorate insulation, which in turn may result in an electrical fire.
- The product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or young children of any age, They must be supervised product by a person responsible for their safety.
- Batteries from the remote control must be only removed by an adult, the adult must ensure to keep them out of reach of infants and children. Seek medical attention immediately if a child has swallowed a battery.
- To maintain the product do not use any chemical or cleaning agent or wet cloth, please only ensure to utilize a dry cloth to wipe it down from marks or dust and only after unplugging the product from the power socket.
- Please ensure to contact our call center for any repair or service required for the products.
Please make sure upon positioning this product, the place is:
- Not wet or damp and Well ventilated
- Away from direct sunlight or heaters.
- Away from splashes or food.
- Protected from excessive dust or grease.
- Do not place this equipment in a confined space such as a bookcase or similar unit. Allow 20cm above and 5cm spacing on both sides for proper ventilation.
- Do not place the Soundbar near heat sources such as radiators, stoves or other audio visual equipment that produce heat.
- Do not place containers with liquids, if liquid falls inside the products it may result in short-circuit, fire or electric shock.
- Do not place small metallic objects on top of the unit.
- Do not use or store flammable or combustible materials near the unit. Doing so may result in fire or explosion. Do not place any naked flame sources, such as lit candles, cigarettes or incense sticks on top of the soundbar.
REMOTE CONTROL
- The remote control has a reception range of approximately 5m. Be sure to point the remote control directly at the sensor at the front of the soundbar.
- Make sure there are no obstacles in the way. This will intefere with the sensor strength.
- Handle the remote control carefully, please do not drop, apply shock or step on it.
- Do not spill water on it.
- Using the remote control while operating other remote controls which use infra-red rays near the unit as this will cause it to operate incorrectly.
- If you do not intend to use the remote control for a period of a month, remove the remote control to prevent battery leakage or corrosion.
PAIR BUTTON:
LONG PRESS – Press and hold for 2 seconds to disconnect or connect last
used device.
SHORT PRESS – SURROUND SOUND On/Off – This will show ON or OFF on Display of the soundbar.
Play/Pause, Previous and Next buttons only work in USB or Bluetooth mode. Press and Hold Play/Pause for 2 seconds to RESET device to factory settings.
CAUTION!
Battery Precautions
- Do not use other batteries other than the one specified in this manual.
- Danger of explosion if incorrectly replaced by a battery other than the one specified.
- Do not store battery with other metallic objects, doing so can cause the battery to short-circuit, leak or explode.
- Ensure the battery is not exposed to excessive heat, direct sunlight or fire.
- Do not try to short-circuit, disassemble or throw the battery into a fire.
- Dispose of batteries promptly and correctly, observing any local hazardouswaste regulations.
To insert new 2 x AAA batteries or replace current batteries, at the back of the remote control remove the cover of the battery compartment and insert the 2 x AAA batteries ensuring that the + sign on the battery is facing toward the
- sign marked within the battery compartment.

PRODUCT PLACEMENT
SOUNDBAR
Please make sure to place Dolby Atmos Soundbar ontop of a TV unit. Not inside.
Make sure to align it in the centre of the TV
- – DO NOT place it inside a TV cabinet, you must allow for airflow and best sound output, you will not be able to fully utilize
Dolby Atmos sound quality while placing it in an enclosed TV unit. There are speakers at the top of the soundbar.
CONTROLS AND CONNECTIONS
HDMI
Connect a HDMI cable (not supplied) from your TV HDMI/ARC port to the HDMI
socket on the soundbar. Then change the mode on your soundbar to HDMI ARC
Mode.
Note: To enable the Audio Return Channel (ARC) feature, the HDMI must be connected to an ARC enabled HDMI on your TV. (go to next page for details on ARC).
OPTICAL
Remove protective cap from the Optical socket on the soundbar and plug in the
optical cable (not supplied) from your Soundbar to the TV optical port. Once
connected, change the Mode to OPTICAL from the unit or remote control.
Note: If there is no sound and Optical light is flashing quickly, make sure that the audio settings on your TV is set to appropriate mode.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This unit may not be able to decode all digital audio formats from the input source. In this case, the unit will mute. This is NOT a defect. Ensure that the audio setting of the input source (e.g. TV, game console, DVD player, etc.) is set to PCM or Dolby (Refer to the user manual of the input source device for its audio setting details) with optical.
AUDIO RETURN CHANNEL (ARC) / HDMI
ARC function is used for connecting the Soundbar to the TV with a HDMI cable
through an audio return channel. This means you can listen to the TV sounds
through your Soundbar via HDMI cable.
To enjoy the HDMI ARC Mode
- Make sure the Soundbar is connected to the TV HDMI(ARC) port.
- Ensure the Soundbar is set to HDMI ARC Mode
- The sound should relay through the soundbar and you can also adjust the volume of the sound thats coming through the soundbar with your TV remote control.
Note: If the sound does not automatically produce from the soundbar, TVs may need to be set onto HDMI (CEC) turned on within the TV settings, with some of them having options to turn on ARC mode directly.
HDMI PORTS – HOW TO USE
To connect 2 different devices to your soundbar, seperate from getting the
Audio from your TV to soundbar, you can plug in a Media player and a DVD
player to pass through audio and video to your TV with either HDMI IN 1 or
HDMI IN 2 Ports. Then connect the HDMI OUT (ARC) on the Soundbar to your HDMI
(ARC) port to your TV.
Please see below figure connect and set up correctly:
TO WATCH YOUR SET TOP BOX OR DVD PLAYER, PLEASE FOLLOW:
- Change Soundbar INPUT mode to HDMI 1 if the DVD Player is connected to the HDMI IN 1 Port on your soundbar to then be displayed on your TV.
- Change Soundbar INPUT mode to HDMI 2 if the Set Top Box is connected to the HDMI IN 2 Port on your soundbar to then be displayed on your TV.
NOTE: HDMI OUT (ARC) must be connected to your TV HDMI (ARC) port in order to switch between device connected to your soundbar. The HDMI OUT (ARC) on your soundbar acts as the single cable to passthrough video and audio to your TV.
GENERAL OPERATION
POWER ON / OFF
- Plug in the power cord into the power outlet and turn on. The Soundbar will go into standby mode when powered.
- Switch on the soundbar by pressing the power button on the unit or RC. Default input mode will appear after around 10 seconds.
- Press and hold the power button on the RC or unit to power off.
During On mode, Press the INPUT on the Remote Control repeatedly to select between:
- HDMI ARC (out)
- HDMI 1
- HDMI 2
- BLUETOOTH
- AUX
- USB
- OPTICAL
Volume adjustment
Press the Volume +/- button on the remote control to adjust the sound level to
the desire level.
Mute function
When listening to music in any mode, press the mute button on the remote
control to activate the mute function. Press it again or press the volume +/-
button to cancel the mute function.
EQ function
Press the different EQ mode buttons on remote control to toggle among the
different sound effect.
- EQ 1 – MUSIC
- EQ 2 – MOVIE
- EQ 3 – NEWS
- EQ 4 – 3D
PAIRING YOUR SOUNDBAR
Pairing with a Bluetooth Enabled Device:
Before you play music from your Bluetooth device, it needs to be paired with
the Soundbar.
- Once powered, press and hold the PAIR button on the remote control to activate pairing mode.
- Now that the unit has entered pairing mode, on your smart device, select to search for Bluetooth devices.
- Select “KSB202DA” in the list of devices that appear. The Soundbar will make a tone once their is a successful connection.
- To disconnect/unpair the devices switch to another mode on the soundbar or Disable the Bluetooth on your device /or unpair the Soundbar from your smart device in settings.
- Play your favourite music once you are connected.
Note: if prompted on smart device to enter password, please use “ 0000”
NOTES:
- The Bluetooth range between the soundbar and your device is up to approx. 8 metres. Obstacles may reduce connectivity range.
- This Soundbar may not be compatible with all Blueooth devices.
- With a Weak signal, your Soundbar may disconnect with your device, but it will continue to stay in Bluetooth mode until signal strengthens.
- If you already have a device connected to the Soundbar, press and hold the Pairing button for 2 seconds for the unit to go into pairing mode with the current connection being disconnected.
DOLBY ATMOS
IF YOUR TV DOES NOT SUPPORT DOLBY ATMOS, THEN YOU MUST PLUG YOUR DOLBY ATMOS
SUPPORTED MEDIA PLAYER OR CONSOLE INTO THE SOUNDBAR DIRECTLY, WITH ONE OF THE
HDMI (IN) PORTS.
PLEASE REFER TO PAGE 13 (HDMI PORTS – HOW TO USE)
MUST USE A HDMI 2.0 CABLE, OTHERWISE DOLBY ATMOS WILL NOT WORK.
When playing DOLBY ATMOS signals from a Blu-Ray, consoles or others to the
DOLBY ATMOS Soundbar, please follow below:
- Set the devices audio output to be AUTO or ORIGINAL.
- Connect these devices HDMI OUT (ARC) to the SOUNDBAR HDMI IN port.
- Connect other end of HDMI into the TV HDMI ARC port.
- By following these steps, you will now be able to control your Soundbar, Power ON/OFF and control other functions.
- When your Soundbar is in HDMI mode and detects an DOLBY ATMOS audio format being played, DOLBY ATMOS will display on the soundbar.
- When DOLBY DIGITAL PLUS audio is detected, the soundbar LED Display will show DOLBY SURROUND.
IMPORTANT:
-
NO SOUND – FLASHING LED LIGHT
In HDMI ARC or Optical Input and there is no sound output from the unit and the LED indicator light on soundbar is flashing, you may need to adjust your TV Audio settings to either PCM or Dolby Digital Signal on your TV. -
This unit may not be able to decode all digital audio formats from the input source. In this case, the unit will be mute. This is NOT a defect.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Never try to repair the soundbar yourself. If you encounter any problems when using this unit, check the following points before seeking for service.
Problem | Solution |
---|---|
No Power | • Ensure that the AC Plug is connected to power socket outlet. |
• Ensure that there is power at the AC outlet.
• Press standby button to turn the unit on.
Remote control does not work| • Before you press any button, first select the correct INPUT mode.
• Reduce the distance between the remote control and the unit.
• Insert the battery with its polarities (+/-) aligned as indicated.
• Replace the battery.
• Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the unit.
No response from the unit| • Disconnect and reconnect the AC power plug, then
turn the unit on again.
I can’t find the Bluetooth name of this unit on my
Bluetooth device for Bluetooth pairing
| • Ensure the Bluetooth function is activated on your Bluetooth device.
• Ensure you have paired the unit with your Bluetooth device.
