IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

Read and save these important safety instructions before using this fan, when using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not use this product with any solid state speed control device. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock and injury to persons, do not use in a window.

  1. Use this fan only as described in this manual. Other uses not recommended may cause fire or electric shock.
  2. This product is intended for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY and not for commercial, industrial or outside use.
  3. To protect against electrical shock, do not place fan in window, immerse unit, plug or cord in water, or spray with liquids.
  4. Unplug the fan from the outlet when not in use, when moving fan from one location to another and before cleaning.
  5. Do not operate the fan in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
  6. Do not place the fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliance.
  7. Avoid contact with moving fan parts.
  8. To disconnect, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never yank the cord.
  9. The use of attachments is not recommended and may cause hazards.
  10. Always use on a dry, level surface.
  11. Do not operate if the fan housing is removed or damaged.
  12. Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug.
  13. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  14. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  15. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  16. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

PREPARATION
Before assembling the product, make sure you have all the pieces. Do not attempt to assemble the product missing parts or if any is damaged.

  1. Remove the screws, spring washers, and metal washers from both fan arms, keep them for future usage.
  2. Slide one of the fan arms into one of the tubes of the fan base.
  3. Slide the other fan arm into the other tube of the fan base.
  4. Align the holes in the fan arm and tube in the fan base, and secure them tightly with the two Screws, spring washers, and metal washers removed in step 1. (see Figure 1)
    NOTE: The screws should be fully tightened before the operation of the fan.

TO set the airflow direction up or down: Tilt the fan head to the desired angle. This high-speed fan can be used alone or in conjunction with air conditioner. The rotation of the fan head serves to pull up the floor and circulate air in the entire room.

How to adjust the tilt

  1. Insert the knob nut onto the tilt nut.
  2. Use the knob to release tilt nut by turning the knob to the counter right.
  3. Adjust the fan head to the desired positions.
  4. Tighten the tilt nut by rotating the knob to the right.
  5. Keep the knob for future use.

SPEED CONTROL: Turn the switch to “LOW-1, MEDIUM-2 AND HIGH -3” speed for the respective air velocity. It is normal for the engine feels hot to touch after the operation continues. This fan features a thermal cutoff that automatically shuts down if it overheats for any reason. If this happens, immediately unplug the fan plug.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING: Unplug from electrical supply source before cleaning.

  • Use only a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the fan.
  • DO NOT immerse the fan in water and never allow water to enter the Motor Housing.
  • DO NOT use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the fan.
  • Do not bend the blade.
  • The motor bearing is permanently sealed and does not require additional lubrication.
