SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Only intended to be used indoors.
• This product can be used by children from eight years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product.
• The product must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with these instructions.
• Do not cover the product, this can result in overheating or fire.
• Place the product standing upright on a level, stable surface.
• When using the product it must always stand upright­it must never be used on its side.
• Pull out the plug from the power point when the product is not in use. Do not pull the power cord to pull out the plug.
• Leave a free space of a least 30 cm round the product to ensure safe and correct functionality.
• Check that the product can oscillate without colliding with or being obstructed by anything in the near vicinity.
• Never poke any objects into the grille in the product. It is especially important to explain this to children to make sure they understand the risks.
• Do not use the product if the power cord or plug are damaged, if the product has tipped over, or if it is not working properly.
• A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by an authorised service centre or qualified person to ensure safe use.
• Do not use the product outdoors.
• Do not use the product near a bath, shower or swimming pool.
• Do not expose the product to direct sunlight.
• Do not use product together with an external speed controller.
• Do not use the product near flammable liquids or gas.
• Switch off the product and pull out the plug before cleaning.
• Never leave the product unattended when switched on.
• Repairs must only be carried out by an authorised service centre.
• If the product stops working properly, switch it off with the switch on the control panel and contact the retailer.

DESCRIPTION

ASSEMBLY

ASSEMBLY OF FOOT AND COLUMN

1. Fit the bottom tube in the connector. FIG. 2

2. Fit the 4 parts of the foot on the connecter and check that they are firmly in place. FIG. 3 & FIG. 4

3. Put the column tube in the connector from above and check that it locks in place look from underneath through the hole in the connector. FIG.5

4. Release the height adjustment ring on the column tube and adjust to the required height. Tighten the height adjustment ring. FIG. 6 NOTE:
   The inner column tube can be concealed in the extension tube. In which case, pull out the extension tube to the required height.

5. Undo the wing screw on the bottom of the motor unit to fit the motor unit on the column tube. Put the motor unit on the inner column tube and tighten the wing screw so that it engages with a suitable slot in the inner column tube. FIG. 7

FITTING THE FAN BLADE AND GRILLE

1. Unscrew the hub nut clockwise and the plastic nut anticlockwise. Fit the back grille on the motor unit and tighten the plastic nut. FIG.8
2. Put the fan blade on the axle and check that the pin on the blade axle engages in the slot in the fan blade. Turn the hub nut anticlockwise to lock to lock the fan blade.  FIG. 9
3. Put the front and back grille together with the grille clamp and tighten the lock screw and nut for the grille.

USE

1. Set the required speed with the power switch:
2. O:Off
3. 7: Low speed
4. 2: Medium speed
5. 3: High speed
6. To activate/deactivate oscillation, pull up/press down the oscillation button.
7. Carefully press the grille to adjust the air flow in the vertical plane.
8. Adjust the height setting by releasing the height adjustment ring and carefully lifting or lowering to the required height, and then tightening the height adjustment ring again.

MAINTENANCE

NOTE:

Pull out the plug from the power point before installation and/or cleaning. The product should be cleaned once a month. Clean the fan with a soft cloth moistened with a mild detergent. Make sure that no water or other liquid gets into the fan.

NOTE:

Do not use petrol, solvents or detergents that can damage the plastic parts.
