IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using this or any other electrical appliance, always follow these basic safety precautions, especially when children are present.

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE

WARNING-To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious personal injury and property damage please note the following:

  • This product is not intended for use by children. Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. Extra caution is necessary when using this appliance near children.
  • Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allowed to cool before assembling, disassembling, relocating, or cleaning it.
  • Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when not in use.
  • Do not immerse the Base, Power Cord, or Plug of this product in or expose the Power Cord or Plug to water or other liquids.
  • Do not touch hotsurfaces. Use handles or knobs when handling product. Use protective oven mitts or gloves when removing the Lid or handling hot containers to avoid burns or personal injury.
  • Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the product manufacturer. Attachments, when furnished, may become hot during use. Allow any attachments to cool before handling them.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven, or other heated surfaces.
  • Use extreme caution when moving an appliance containing hot food, water, or other liquids.
  • Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep at least 4-6 inches of space on all sides of the product to allow adequate air circulation.Use appliance on a table or flat surface. Do not operate the product empty.
  • Keep the product away from curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels, or other flammable materials.
  • Do not plug or unplug the product from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
  • This product is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial, household use in cooking of food for human consumption; do not use the product outdoors or for any other purpose.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter where it may be tripped over or pulled. Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not operate the product if it has a damaged or cut Power Cord or plug, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if the Motor Housing is dropped in or exposed to water.
  • This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Only qualified service personnel should perform any servicing; take the product to the appliance repair shop of your choice for inspection and repair
  • Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the product, as the power cord could fray and break.

Special Instructions

  • Keep utensils away from the Stainless-Steel Blades to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the food A scraper may be used only when the food chopper is not running.

WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

Before First Use

IMPORTANT: Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding as there may be accessory parts contained within the packaging material.

Operation:

  1. Follow the flow pictured step by step to assemble machine.
  2. Ensure the bowl in step 2 and the lid in step 4 are locked well, or the machine will not work.
  3. After operation, you can disassemble machine by opposite flow and direction.
  4. Always be careful when handling the stainless-Steel blade as they are very sharp.
  5. Only open the lid when blades completely stopped.

USING SLICER / JULIENNE / FRENCH FRIED POTATO JULIENNE DISC BLADE

Use for carrots, potatoes, cucumber, zucchini, beetroot and so on vegetables.
You could prepare food for Salad, garnishes, casseroles, stir fries and so on.

  • Do not use the machine for more than 2 minutes at a time. Cool down the machine at least 30 minutes before the next operation.
  • Please pay attention to the capacity line. Once the food approaches the max line on the container, please stop operation and pour out food.
  • Switch on and push down evenly with the Pushers – never put your fingers in the feed tube.

Disassemble the blade disc:

  1. Overturn the holder and then press down the head of the disc

  2. Ensure the bowl in step 2 and the lid in step 4 are locked well, or the machine will not work.

  3. After operation, you can disassemble machine by opposite flow and direction.

  4. Always be careful when handling the stainless-Steel blade as they are very sharp.

  5.  Only open the lid when the blades are completely Stopped. Always take care of blade disc,it is very sharp.

Tips:

  • For Stainless Steel Knife Blade: could be used for chopping raw and cooked meat, vegetables, nuts, pate, dips, pureeing soups and to also make crumbs from biscuits and bread. For coarser foods use the pulse control.
  • Do not use continuously for more than 3 minutes. Allow the motor to cool before the next operation.
  • Before processing, cut the meat into small pieces. Never put more than 500g of meat into the container.
  • Do not use the stainless-steel knife blade for mixing flour.
  •  If you chop onions, use the pulse function a few times to prevent the onions from being too finely chopped.
  •  Do not let the appliance run too long when you chop (hard) cheese or chocolate. Otherwise these ingredients become too hot, start to melt and turn lumpy.
  • For Plastic Knife Blade: could be used for dough making. Allow the motor to cool before the next operation.
  •  Plastic Knife Blade for dough 8 cup bowl no more than 500g flour with 300g water, Start machine with min. speed for around 10-20 seconds, and then turn to little bigger and bigger speed. Not exceed 1/3 speed. Cannot work more than 2 min.

CLEANING

  • Before cleaning please remove the power cord from the socket.
  • Do not immerse the housing with motor in water. Do not use any abrasive detergents.
  • Please only use a damp to clean the outside of the housing.
  • Components that have come into contact with food can be cleaned in soapy water.
  • Allow the parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling the device.

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

FOR ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE, WHEN THIS APPLIANCE IS OPERATED AND MAINTAINED PER INSTRUCTIONS FURNISHED WITH THE PRODUCT, BRENTWOOD APPLIANCES, INC. WILL REPLACE THE PRODUCT WITH AN EQUIVALENT UNIT OR A NEW UNIT, SOLEY AT OUR OPTION.

BRENTWOOD will not pay for:

  1. Service calls to correct the installation of your appliance, to instruct you how to use your appliance, to replace house fuses or correct house wiring, or to replace light
  2. Repairs when your appliance is used in other than normal, single-family household
  3. Pickup and delivery
  4. Damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, abuse, fire, flood, improper installation, acts of God, or use of products not approved by Brentwood
  5. Repairs to parts or systems resulting from unauthorized modifications made to the
  6. Service or warranty support for units located and/or operated outside the United

NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY FOR A PURPOSE, OTHER THAN THOSE EXPRESSLY DESCRIBED ABOVE SHALL APPLY. MANUFACTURER FURTHER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AFTER THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD STATED ABOVE. NO OTHER EXPRESS PRODUCTS SHALL BE BINDING ON BRENTWOOD APPLIANCES, INC. REPAIR OR REPLACMENT IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER. BRENTWOOD APPLIANCES, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT. NOT WITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING CONSUMERS RECOVERY AGAINST BRENTWOOD SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT SOLD BY BRENTWOOD. THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXTEND TO ANYONE OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL CONSUMER WHO PURCHASED THE PRODUCT AND IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.

Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage or allow limitations on warranties, so limitation or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to province. Outside the 50 United States, this warranty does not apply. Contact you authorized Brentwood Dealer to determine if another warranty applies.
Keep this Warranty and your sales slip together for future references. You must provide proof of purchase for in-warranty service.
