R-TEC Smart Controls – ARC™ USB Signal Repeater RTMUSR
ARC™ USB Signal Repeaters extend the wireless range of the R-TEC Hub or
Remotes up to 60′. Maximum of 2 repeaters per system or network.
Simply plug into USB Wall Charger for an easy install.
In some instances, the remote signal may not reach all motors; simply plug in
the ARC™ repeater near the suspected out of range motors. If you have an
instance whereby not all motors are responding or responding intermittently,
the ARC™ repeater will double the range you currently get.
FEATURES
FACTORS THAT AFFECT YOUR RANGE
- Metal is the biggest factor that affects your range; even if there is a metal roof, the remote signal bounces around the house, and a metal roof absorb the signal.
- Solid Brick walls will heavily affect the range and absorb and reduce the signal.
- Wall tiles and glass.
- Other metal frames’ electrical cables.
- Microwave signal; even a residential microwave will shorten the range (while its running).

PROGRAMMING
IMPORTANT
A maximum of 2 USB Signal Repeaters can be used in one project. Don’t cover
the USB Signal Repeater with a metal shield.
QUICKSTART GUIDE
WARNING
Only use our R-TEC USB Wall Charger RTMLWCW with your USB Signal Repeater.
Using other wall chargers/power sources may adversely affect USB Signal
Repeater’s performance and should be avoided.
