Quick Start Guide

iOS (Apple Homekit)

  1.  Long press the button for 10 seconds to reset The blue LED blinks slowly after reset

  2.  Make sure your iOS device {iOS12.1 or later) is connected to a 24GHz Wi-Fi network. Shut down 5GHz Wi-Fi network

  3.  Download and open the thefreeOnvis Home app from the App Store. Tap ‘skip’ to use HomeKit directly, or login/sign up an Onvis account for more services of champion Smart Home System

  4.  Tap ·+• on the top right comer and scan the HomeKit QR code to set up the device.
    Note: When QR ccx: Les scanning is NOT applicable, select the target device (last 6 digits matching the MAC address), and manually input the SETUP code printed on the cover page

  5. If the app prompts ‘Couldn’t add Onvis-XXXXXX”, please reset and re-add the device. Please keep the QR code for fun. Joe use

  6. Assign the device to a room, name it, and use this name to control with Si RI , This smart plug can be integrated intoyourHomeKitscenes and automation

  7. The use of a Home Kit-enabled accessory needs the following pelTI’liSSll’.’>liS’

    • Settings>iCloud>iCloud Drive>TurnOn
    • Settings>iCloud>Ke\,(:hain>Turn On
    • Settings>Privacy>HomelDnvis Home>TumOn

• Power Button
Manually turn on or off the power plug by single pressing the power button

• Restore Factory Settings
Press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds. When the blue LED indicator blinks slowly, the device has been restored to factory settings.

• Wi-Fi Connection Indicter
Blue LED blinks slowly: Smart Plug is ready for Wi-Fi network configuration Blue LED blinks fast: The Wi -R connection is lost

• Power Indicator (after Configuring Wi-Fi)
Blue LfD solid on The power plug is “on» Blue left off: The power plug is “off”.
• Power Meter and Records
The Onvis Home app shows the real-time output power and historic records.

• Timers and Count Down Timers
In the Elvis Home app, timers can be set to turn on/off once or regularly Count down timer can be set to turn on/off once when time (seconds) is up

• Outlet in Use
The S3EU plug detects the plug-in status of the outlet.

FAQ

Why did I fail to set up my Onvis Smart Plug S3EU to Home app or Onvis Home app?

  1.  Shut down the 5GHz Wi-Fi network and connect your iOS device to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. If possible, use a 2.4GHz single-band router.
  2.  Reset the S3EU. plug it into a power slot and keep it within effective range of the 2.4GHz network. When the blue LED blinks slowly, scan the setup code to set up the S3EU.
  3. If the app prompts ‘Couldn’t add the device’ after scanning the setup code, try delete the device from the Home app if it was added before;
  4. delete the current ‘Home’ in Home Settings and close the app
  5. restore the accessory to factory settings;
  6. add the accessory again.

S3EU works normally after restoring factory settings and correct configurations, but it occasionally gets disconnected from the network and cannot be recognized.

Try:

  1. Check and update the firmware of S3EU and the HomeKit hub.
  2.  If many wireless networks overlap in the installation spot, it might cause network congestion and interference. Move to a spot where network congestion and interference is less, or wait till tile network works normally
  3.  Make sure the number of Wi-Fi-connected devices is within the wireless network capacity of your router. Otherwise, please use a 2.4GHz router that offers a higher capacity
  4.  Reconnect your iOS devices to Wi-Fi and make sure the Wi-Fi signal is strong enough.
  5. Power cycle or reset 53EU, add the device with the OnVls Home app.
