QUICKSTART GUIDE
- Insert the included CR2450 button cell battery and close the cover.
- Make sure the Bluetooth of your iOS device is on.
- Use the Home app, or download and launch the free Onvis Home App
- Tap the Add accessory button, and scan the QR code on the CT2 to add the accessory to your HomeKit network
- Name the CT2 smart contact sensor. Assign it to a room.
- Set up a HomeKit hub (Pad, Apple TV, HomePod) to enable remote control and notification.

Note: When QR code scanning is NOT applicable, you may manually input the SETUP code printed on the QR code label. Example:
HomeKit Hub Setting
An Apple device as a HomeKit hub (iPad/AppleTV/HomePod) is necessary to enable remote control and notification. You may find the instruction here: http://www.onvistech.com/page-1718.html

Restore Factory Settings
Insert a pin and press the button for about 10 seconds. After the LED indicator blinks green 3 times, the device is restored to factory settings
Note:
The use of a HomeKit-enabled accessory needs the follow permission:
Settings-iCloud-iCloud Drive- Turn On
Settings-iCloud>Keychain>Tun On

Onvis Smart Contact Sensor CT2 is an Apple HomeKit compatible BLE5.0 button battery powered contact sensor. It monitors the open/close status of your door/window, sends you notifications and shows the on/off records.

Tips
- Do not clean with liquid
- Do not attemp to repair the product
- Keep the product away from children under the age of three.
- Keep the Onvis CT2 in clean, dry, indoor environment.
- Be sure the product is adequately ventilatec, is positioned securely, a nd do not place it near other sources of heat (e.g direct sunlight, radiators, or similar).
Warnings and cautions of batteries
- Keep away from liquids and humidity.
- Keep battery out of reach of children.
- lf you notice any liquid coming out of any of the battery, be sure not to let it come into
- contact with your skin or clothing as this liquid is acidic and can be poisonous.
- Be sure only to use the 2450 button cell battery.
- Do not dispose of battery together with household waste.
- Please recycle/dispose of them in accordance with local regulations.
- Remove the battery if they run out of power or ifyou do not intend to use the device for a while.
FAQ
- Why did I fail to set up my Onvis Smart Contact Sensor CT2 to Onvis Home app?
- Make sure your Bluetooth is enabled.
- Make sure your CT2 is within connecting range of your iOS device
- Before set up, reset the device by long pressing the button for about 10 seconds until LED blinks green 3 times.
- Scan the setup code which can be found on the device, instruction manual or inner packaging
- fthe app prompts “couldn’t add the device” after scanning the setup code:
- delete the current “Home” in Home Settings and close the app;
- restore the accessory to factory settings
- add the accessory again
- update the firmware to the latest version.
LED KEEPS BLINKING
reseting does not work, and CT2 does not respond at all.
- LED blinking means CT2 firmware update process has been interrupted and device is in SOS Update Mode
- Make sure bluetooth is enabled and your CT2 is within bluetooth connecting range of your iOS device. No other nearby bluetooth product is in SOS Update mode.
- Use the SOS Update key in the Me page of the Onvis Home app to restore and update the CT2. (Onvis Home app- Me page->sOS Update)
