Salente Personal scale SlimFit
Product Information
The SlimFit is a digital body weight scale that uses bioimpedance analysis (BIA) to measure and analyze body parameters such as bone, fat, and muscle tissue percentages, water in the body, etc. The scale features foot sensors (electrodes) that send a weak electrical impulse through the human body, which is then analyzed by the software embedded in the scale to evaluate the measurements based on the difference in electrical impedance of individual tissues and their relative contribution to the body. The scale has a maximum weight capacity of 180 kg and can display units in kilograms, pounds, and stones.
Product Usage Instructions
- Remove the insulating strip from the battery compartment before use.
- Place the scale on a flat, dry, and hard surface.
- Wait for the symbol 8888 to briefly appear on the display to indicate the stabilization of the weighing sensors.
- After the display reads 0.0 kg, step onto the scale with your feet so that the entire surface of your feet touches the weighing surface.
- Do not stand on your toes or heels only, and remain still until the final weight is displayed.
- The scale will indicate the progress of weighing with a triple flash of the value on the display.
- The resulting weight will remain displayed for 10 seconds before turning off.
- If necessary, switch the units using the switch located at the bottom of the scale.

PRINCIPLE OF MEASUREMENT
This scale uses bioimpedance analysis (BIA) to measure and analyze body parameters (percentage of bone, fat and muscle tissue, water in the body, etc.) based on the principle of a weak electrical impulse sent through the scale’s foot sensors (electrodes) into the human body. The software embedded in the scale evaluates the measurements based on the difference in electrical impedance of the individual tissues and their relative contribution to the body.
Muscle contains about 90% water and adipose tissue 45% water. Therefore, the percentage sum can exceed 100% and for this reason, the measurements cannot be added because both muscle and fat contain water.
SERVICE
Important notices:
- If the scale is placed on an uneven or soft surface (e.g. carpet), inaccuracies in weighing may occur (the scale may display higher or lower readings).
- The use of body parameter analysis mode (i.e. barefoot weighing on sensors) is not recommended:
- pregnant women
- people with an implanted pacemaker or another medical implant
- people with symptoms of edema (swelling)
- persons undergoing dialysis treatment
Preparation for weighing
Warning:
The batteries are already inserted in the battery compartment at the factory.
To prevent the batteries from discharging during transport from the factory to
the customer, the batteries are protected by an insulating strip with the
inscription “REMOVE BEFORE USE”, which must be removed from the battery
compartment before the first use by pulling it.
- After removing the insulating tape, place the scale on a flat, dry and hard surface.
- The symbol “8888” will briefly appear on the display to indicate the stabilization of the weighing sensors into weighing mode.
- After the display shows “0.0 kg”, the weighing can start.
- If necessary, switch the units using the switch at the bottom of the scale (the scale is factory set to metric units or weighing in kilograms).
- The measured weight remains on the display for 10 seconds even after stepping off the scale.
Notes:
- The scale is factory preset to weigh in kilograms (the “kg” symbol appears next to the measured weight on the display).
- The scale is equipped with the “Double Auto On” function, where it automatically switches itself on as soon as you step on it and starts weighing the weight immediately.
Weight weighing mode
In this mode, the scale weighs only the weight.
- Step on the scale with your feet so that the entire surface of your feet touch the weighing surface. Do not stand on your toes or heels only, do not lean and stand still until the final weight is displayed.
- The weighing progress is indicated by a triple flash of the value on the display.
- The resulting weight remains displayed for 10 seconds. Then the display automatically switches off and after a further 20 seconds of inactivity the whole scale automatically switches off.
Warning:
We recommend weighing on the same pad/floor and at the same time of day,
ideally first thing in the morning on an empty stomach – this will give
comparable results.
Weighing mode with body parameters measurement
In this mode, the scale weighs the weight and evaluates the body parameters
at the same time, and it is necessary to stand on the scale with bare feet
during weighing so that the toe touches the upper and the heel touches the
lower foot sensor.
- Step on the scale with bare feet so that the entire surface of the feet touches the weighing surface. Do not stand on your toes or heels only, do not lean and stand still until the final weight is displayed.
- The weighing progress is indicated by the successive flashing of four “o” characters below the weight value on the display.
- The resulting weight remains displayed for 10 seconds. Then the display automatically switches off and after a further 20 seconds of inactivity the whole scale automatically switches off.
- The values are then transferred to the application where they are analyzed and displayed.
Warning:
- Measurement of body parameters (except weight) is not recommended immediately after waking up, as the body is dehydrated after sleep. Similarly, we do not recommend measurements immediately after sports performance or during drastic weight loss diets.
- Wet, dirty feet or feet covered in the cream can distort the results of body measurements or even make them impossible.
LINKING THE SCALE TO THE APP
This scale allows you to transfer, analyze and display all the measured values in the MovingLife mobile app. The values are transferred to the app via Bluetooth.
Sharing Libra with multiple users
- Open App > Me > Scale with WiFi > Share QR code
- In the next step, the second user scans the QR code to make the connection.
- Support for up to eight users simultaneously
How to pair your mobile phone with a smart scale
Turn on Bluetooth and connect your device to the internet (using 4G or Wi-
Fi), launch the MovingLife app, and enter Account→My Device→Add Device. Then
select the appropriate device and pair them.
Account:
- Local
- No registration is required, all data will only remain on your device. If you uninstall the app or start using another device, you will lose data.

- By switching the switch to the on position, you can register to the Cloud and the data from the app will remain there even if you replace your device.
For the app to work properly and count health functions, you must fill in the
basic user information that the app asks you for during initial setup. The app
can be linked to Apple Health or Google Fit, and synchronization can be
enabled in the app:
“Me” = > “Settings” and select Google Fit or Apple Health depending on
your device
Pairing failed
Please check the following items:
- Verify that your mobile phone’s operating system and Bluetooth version meet the conditions.
- Stand on the scale and check if the display has lit up. If not, change the batteries in time.
- Make sure your mobile phone has Bluetooth capability.
- If all the above items are OK, restart the app or restart your phone.
Warning:
The app requires Bluetooth version 4.2 support and, for mobile phones, Apple
iOS 12.5 and above or Android 9.0 and above.
Warning:
- If the scale is placed on an uneven or soft surface (e.g. carpet), inaccuracies in weighing may occur (the scale may display higher or lower readings).
- Wet, dirty feet or feet covered in cream can distort the results of body measurements or even make them impossible.
- We do not recommend measuring body parameters immediately after waking up, as the body is dehydrated after sleep. Similarly, we do not recommend measurements immediately after sports performance or during drastic weight loss diets.
- Variations in measured physical parameters may be greater in children under 10 years of age, persons over 70 years of age and professional athletes.
- The measured values of the body parameters are only indicative and no medical conclusions can be drawn from them. If the results are significantly different from normal, we recommend consulting a nutritionist or doctor.
- The weight unit you set remains stored in the scale’s internal memory even after the scale is switched off and on again. The exception is when removing or replacing the battery, when the scale is switched back on, it displays the unit for weighing the weight in grams (the g symbol appears on the display).
Options for switching off the scale
If the scale remains idle for more than 10 seconds, the display will
automatically switch off. After 30 seconds of inactivity, the entire scale
automatically shuts down.
ERROR MESSAGES
- Lo… low battery indication. Replace the batteries with new ones.
- Err… the maximum weighing capacity (180 kg) has been exceeded. Get off the scale immediately, otherwise the weighing sensors or the entire product may be irreversibly damaged.
- Err… the scale sensors were loaded before switching on. Wait about 2 seconds for the scale to reset itself.
- C… there was a weighing error. Repeat the weighing.
BATTERY CHANGE
- Open the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the scale.
- Remove the old batteries and insert the new batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure to observe the correct polarity, which is marked on the bottom of the battery compartment.
- Close the battery compartment by snapping its cover back on.
Warning:
- Do not use rechargeable batteries to power the scale, their voltage may not be sufficient to power the scale.
- Do not combine old and new batteries due to their different residual capacities. A low battery error indication could be displayed prematurely and all batteries may need to be replaced.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Never clean the scale under running water, rinse it or immerse it in water.
- Use a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water to clean the outside of the scale. Do not use harsh cleaners, thinners or solvents or the scale surface may be damaged.
Disposal:
If the information leaflet, packaging or product label contains a crossed-out
bin symbol, this means that – in the European Union – all electrical and
electronic products, batteries and accumulators marked in this way must be
placed in separate waste bins at the end of their life. Do not dispose of
these products in unsorted municipal waste.
