Charging the battery

The FontaFil 165CH Calor is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-Polymer battery. Fully charge the FontaFil 165CH Calor prior to putting the device into operation for the first time. Insert the USB charger plug of the tracker into a USB power source; a battery symbol appears in the display; the battery is charging. Charging lime is approximately 1-2 hours, depending on the battery charge level. When the unit is fully charged, the display changes. Once the tracker is fully charged, remove it from the power source.

Attaching the bracelet
Place both sides of the bracelet on the 165CH Calor fixings and slide them towards the case until they stop.

Installing the app
Download and install the “FontaFit plus” app by scanning the QR code or follow the link:

Note: The Android app requires Android 4.4 or later.
The iOS app requires iOS 9 or later.

Connecting and using the app

Note: Your Fontastic® Fitness watch 165CH Calor must be connected to your mobile phone via the app (FontaFit Pro). Do not connect the fitness watch and your smartphone directly via the Bluetooth® function of the smartphone.

If the pairing has already been made directly via Bluetooth®, 165CH Calor must first be deleted from the Bluetooth® directory of connected devices on the smartphone.
Pairing must be carried out via the FontaFit Pro App as described below.

1. Activate Bluetooth® on your smartphone.
2. Switch on the Fitness tracker, start the FontaFit plus App and select ,,ADD” in the ,,Settings” section. Once the ,, 165CH Calor” is in the list, select it and wait until the connection is established.
3. In the ,,Profile” section under ,,Profile settings” you can enter your data such as gender, height, weight etc.

Note: You can only connect one Fitness Tracker via the app. The use of multiple Fitness Watches on one smartphone at the same time is not supported.
Note: The personal data is used to calculate the calorie consumption and distance correctly.

Switching on/off
To switch on, press and hold the key for 6-8 seconds; FontaFit 165CH Calor switches on.
To switch off, press the key repeatedly until the menu ,,MORE” appears. Press and hold the key for about 3 seconds to open the menu and scroll through the menu until the symbol @appears.
Now press and hold the key until the tracker switches off.

Display

FontaFit 165CH Calor has a colour display which shows the date, lime, connection to the smartphone, steps taken, pulse, blood pressure, blood oxygen, calories burned, body temperature and notifications.

Note: Date and time are only updated after connection to the smartphone. Manual setting is not possible.

There are 2 watch faces lo choose from. You can set these in the menu under ,,More”.

Activating the submenu

Press the key to scroll through the main menu.
Press and hold the key for about 3 seconds lo open the sub-menu for the main menu item displayed (if available).
In a sub-menu, press and hold the key for approx. 3 seconds lo confirm your selection or lo return to the main menu.

Menu navigation

Date/Time
Steps – calories, distance
BPM – pulse, blood pressure, oxygen

Body temperature
Sports – Running – time, calories / rope skipping – time, calories / sit- ups – time, calories

Message
More – Camera, Find, Watch face, Reset, QR Code, Power off/MAC

Steps
Touching the menu item ,,STEPS” displays the number of steps. If you press and hold the key for 3 seconds, the calories and distance are also shown.

Sleep
You can find sleep analysis data in the FontaFit plus App in the ,,SLEEP” section.

Note: The sleep analysis is active from 20:00 to 10:00. It is not possible to record a sleep analysis during the day.

Pulse
By opening the menu item ,,BPM” the pulse measurement, measurement of blood pressure and blood oxygen is started.

Temperature measurement
By opening the menu ,,Temp” and touch the sensitive button (2) the body temperature measuring will start.

Please note: Wear the bracelet approx. 1 cm above your wrist bone and make sure it is close to your skin. Please note that other factors can lead to measurement inaccuracies:

• Low blood circulation
• Tattoos
• Uneven or jerky movements
• Sunscreen and other lotions
• Dirty sensor

Note: By using optoelectronic pulse measurement (photoplethysmography), in which your blood flow is detected by green LEDs and photo diodes, FontaFit also displays values when the bracelet is worn too loosely or not worn at all. For this reason, make sure that the wristband fits correctly when measuring your heart rate.

Note: This is not a medical device: Data from the Step, pulse, blood pressure, body temperature and oxygen saturation functions are not intended to be used for medical purposes.

Training
Some sports are pre-programmed in the ,,SPORTS” menu. Press and hold the key for about 3 seconds to enter the sub-menu. There you can choose between running, skipping and sit-ups. You can stop activities by tapping and holding the key.

Notifications and incoming phone calls
Notifications or incoming calls are displayed directly.
You can display the latest notifications in the .. Message” menu.

Note: In the FontaFit plus app in the ,,Settings” section under ,,Notifications”, you must first approve the notification of the 165CH Calor in the respective message app.

Other menu items
If your 165CH Calor fitness watch is connected to your smartphone and within reach, the following additional menu items are available:

• QR code to download the FontaFit plus app
• Power off/display MAC address

Safety advice:

• Do not open the device
• Do not use the device when it has visible defects.
