Pre-Filter
The Pre-Filter is built on to the HEPA Filter to capture large particles such
as dust.
HEPA Filter
HEPA filter to remove microscopic particles down to 0.3 microns in size such
as fine dust, smoke, pollen, bacteria and mold.
Activated Carbon Filter
The activated carbon filter consists of a vast system of highly absorbent
molecular sized pores to remove gases, light odors and Volatile Organic
Compounds (VOCs).
Placement
In order to get better performance in cleaning, it is recommended to place the
purifier on the ground or a stable surface. Since the air is drawn in through
the front sides of the air purifier it can be placed near a wall.
Fan Speed
There are three fan speeds plus Auto and Night Modes. Pressing the fan speed
button will cycle through the fan speeds and Auto Mode.
Night Mode
Cycle through the fan speeds to get to Night Mode. This reduces the fan speed
to the quietest level and turns off the air quality display. The blue lights
on the top of the user interface will remain on but will be dimmed.
Timer
There are 4 timer settings: 1, 2, 4, and 8 hours. The air purifier will turn
off after the set time on the timer.
Kid Lock
Pressing the Timer and Speed buttons at the same time will lock the air
purifier in its current state. To unlock the air purifier, press and hold
these two buttons again at the same time.
NOTE: Lost remotes can be purchased at Oransi.com
Auto Mode
In Auto Mode, the unit automatically adjusts its fan speed based on the air
quality sensor reading. The sensor needs about 10 minutes to warm up to reach
its maximum sensitivity.
NOTE: If you are sensitive to allergies we suggest running the air
purifier on the highest fan speed where the noise is acceptable.
Air Quality Sensor (AQS)
The Air Quality Sensor (AQS) measures and displays air quality in three color
codes: green, yellow and red.. The color corresponds to the particle count as
measured by the air quality sensor.
- Green: 0-75 ug/㎥
- Yellow: 76-150 ug/㎥
- Red: >150 ug/㎥
If the AQS is constantly showing poor quality: Wipe the lens with a clean cloth or use a can of air, typically used to clean keyboards, to remove accumulated dust from the sensor.
Filter Reset
When the purifier has run for a total time of 2,000 hours, the maintenance
indicator illuminates as a reminder to check the HEPA filter — when it is a
dark grey, replace it as soon as possible.
NOTE: After maintenance press the “Filter Reset” button to reset the
counter.
Filter Reset Button
The Filter Reset Button is touchy. Use your thumb and press the reset button.
As you’re applying pressure, rotate your thumb back and forth to hit the sweet
spot to reset. The reset light will go out when it is reset.

Using Your Oransi
Always operate your air purifier indoors on a level surface.
Locate your air purifier wherever you spend most of your time. Typically, a
bedroom, living space, office waiting room, or classroom. Set the fan speed to
a level that is comfortable for you. Low settings are less audible. In most
cases, you can run your air purifier on a very low fan.
For larger areas, consider a higher fan speed when you’re absent and then turn
the setting lower when you return.
Air enters your Oransi at the bottom and exits the top, so you can place the
unit anywhere in a room. However, be careful that curtains do not block air
intake or exit.
