Please read the operating instruction carefully and follow the instructions and notes to get the most out of your Fitness Bracelet.

Charging the battery
The FontaFit Talis is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-Polymer battery. Fully charge the FontaFit This is prior to putting the device into operation for the first time. To charge, place the fitness watch with the charging contacts on the charging unit so that the pins of both units are magnetically attracted and have contact. The charging unit can be connected to any USB-A power source or the USB-A port of a Computer.

Connect the USB cable to a USB power source; the battery symbol will show up and the battery will be charged. The usual charging time is 2.5 hours. The display will indicate, once the battery is fully charged.
Note: Your Fontastic® Fitness watch Talis must be connected to your mobile phone via the app (FontaFit Pro).
Do not connect the fitness watch and your smartphone directly via the Bluetooth® function of the smartphone.

Installing the app

Download and install the „FontaFit Pro” app by scanning the QR code or following the link: (URL: www.fontastic.eu/fontafit_pro)
Note: The Android app requires Android 4.4 or later. The iOS app requires iOS 9 or later.
Switching on/off
Switch on: To turn on the Talis Fitness Watch, press and hold the side button for about 3 seconds.
Switch off: You can switch off Talis by first pressing the side button to activate the display and then pressing and holding the side button for about 5 seconds. A prompt will appear. Touch the green button to switch off Talis.
Connecting and using the app
Note: Only connect the device via the FontaFit Pro app and not via the Bluetooth® settings of the smartphone.

Make sure that the Bluetooth® function is enabled on your smartphone and that the watch is powered on.
Open the FontaFit Pro app and first enter your data like gender, height, weight, etc.
Tap „ADD“.
Allow the app to use the location if it is asking for permission, otherwise, the device cannot be found.
Choose „Talis“ from the list to establish the connection.
After a successful connection, the device will synchronize with the smartphone. The name of the bracelet will be displayed in the upper left corner.

Note:

Only connect the device via the FontaFit Pro app and not via the Bluetooth ® settings of the smartphone.
The personal data is used to calculate the calorie consumption and distance correctly.
You can only connect one Fitness watch via the app. The use of multiple watches with one smartphone at the same time is not supported.

After successful connection, the date, time, and weather data are transferred from the smartphone to the fitness watch.

Note: Time/date cannot be set manually.

Display

FontaFit Talis has a touch-sensitive color display. The display can show the date, time, steps, sleep duration, pulse, blood pressure, blood oxygen, notifications, and much more.
The following functions among others can be activated by the app:

Notifications: Here you can set which notifications are displayed on the Fitness Watch.
Camera: Here you can use the Fitness Watch Talis as a shutter for the smartphone camera.
All-day heart rate: If enabled, the Talis automatically measures your heart rate every 30 minutes
Alarm clock: Up to three alarms can be set. The watch will vibrate when the alarm will ring.
Do not disturb: When do not disturb is active, messages are not sent to the device.
Hourly reminder: Reminds you every hour to move, for example.
Music control: If the function is activated, the Talis can be used to control the music.
Drink reminder: Reminds you to drink water regularly.
Heart rate warning: Warns you when your heart rate exceeds a certain limit.
Weather: When activated, the weather forecast is transmitted to the watch.
Cycle reminder: Provides calendar and reminder functions to predict your period.

Enable push notifications
Notifications or incoming calls are displayed directly on the Fantastic Fitness watch Talis. In the messages menu, you can display the latest notifications.
In the FontaFit Pro app tap on , to enter the settings. Choose „Notifications“ and activate the apps for which you want your watch to display notifications.
Depending on the app, FontaFit Pro requires permission to read the notifications and forward them to the watch.
TIP: Grant the app the permissions to make sure the function works.

Watch face setting
Press the side button to activate the display and turn the side button to change the watch’s face. Alternatively activate the display and press and hold on the current watch face for approx. 3 seconds. Swipe left or right to scroll between the available watch faces and confirm your selection by tapping on the display.
Tap on „Load more watch faces“ in the app, here you have the choice of hundreds of watch faces, which you can install on Talis. If you tap on a watch’s face, it will be uploaded to the watch.
Note: Uploading pictures and watch faces to Tila will take about 90 seconds.

Activating the submenu

By swiping the touch-sensitive display to the right or top, you can access the menu items. By touching the desired menu item, you activate the menu.
Note: Use the button on the side to activate the display and return from any submenu to the clock display interface.
Steps
Touching the menu „STEPS“ will show the step count, burned calories, and distance.
Sleep
The determined sleep duration is displayed here if you wear the FontaFit Talis while sleeping. Further data will be displayed in the app.
Note: Sleep is recorded if the time of falling asleep is between 20:00 and 10:00, sleep is longer than 4 hours and the wristband is permanently connected to the smartphone. The
the wristband should not be taken off directly when getting up.
Heart Rate/Blood Pressure/Sp02
Touching this menu item starts the heart rate, blood pressure, or oxygen saturation measurement.

Please note:
Wear the bracelet approx. 1cm above your wrist bone and make sure it is close to your skin. Please note that other factors can lead to measurement inaccuracies:

Low blood circulation
Tattoos
Uneven or jerky movements
Sunscreen and other lotions
Dirty sensor

Note: By using optoelectronic pulse measurement (photoplethysmography), in which your blood flow is detected by green LEDs and photodiodes, FontaFit also displays values when the bracelet is worn too loosely or not worn at all. For this reason, make sure that the wristband fits correctly when measuring your heart rate.
This is not a medical device: Data from the Step, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation functions are not intended to be used for medical purposes.
Training
Some activities are pre-programmed in the training menu. You can access the different sports activities by touching the corresponding submenu items. You can end ongoing activities by swiping to the left or pressing the side button, touching the stop button, and confirming your selection.
Note: The recorded data is transferred to the FontaFit Pro app and can be viewed here.
Route recording
A route recorder is an indispensable tool for runners, athletes, and tourists. You can use it to record the routes you have covered with the GPS of your mobile phone in the FontaFit Pro App. This function is started in the app, it requires activation of the GPS function of the smartphone.
Note: Route recording is a function of the FontaFit Pro App and not the fitness watch.
Theathermode
In Theathermode, vibration is turned off and the display brightness is reduced. You can access the Theathermode in the Control Center and in the menu under „More“.

Do not use the device when it has visible defects.
The device is waterproof according to IP67 (up to 1-meter water depth for max. 30 min. in clear water).
