ASSEMBLY

POSITIONING

  • The product should be mounted on a wall.
  • The ambient temperature affects the range of the motion detector. The product should therefore not be placed near sources of heat, such as air conditioning units, fans and ventilation openings, outlets from ovens or heaters, or pointed at a bright, reflective surface.

PREPARATIONS AND MOUNTING

  1. Carefully remove all the parts from the packaging and place them on a smooth, horizontal surface.

  2. Undo the screw on the bottom edge of the product and remove the wall bracket.
    FIG. 1

  3. Remove the battery cover by pressing both tabs.
    FIG. 2

  4. Insert four batteries (sold separately). Replace the battery cover by pressing it in place until it clicks.
    FIG. 3

  5. If the product is to be mounted on a concrete wall, first drill two holes in the wall. Put in expander plugs, align the wall bracket to the holes and screw it in place with the two screws.
    FIG. 4

  6. Hold the lamp flush with the wall bracket and tighten the screw.
    FIG. 5

USE

SETTINGS

The light function on the product is set with two control dials on the top of the motion detector.

Light sensitivity (LUX)

  1. If the dial is turned to maximum the light will go on in almost all light conditions, from twilight to full daylight.
  2. If the dial is turned to a minimum the light will only go on in the dark. This is in most cases the best setting when the light is only needed during the evening and night.
    FIG. 6

Lighting-up time after detection of movement (TIME)

  1. This dial sets the delay before the light switches off-the time during which the light remains on after the motion detector has detected movement.
The time can be set from 3 seconds to 7 minutes. Turning the dial clockwise results in a longer lighting-up time.
    FIG. 7

  2. After setting, turn the motion detector so that the front of it (see arrow) is facing the required detection area.
    FIG. 8

  3. Angle and/or carefully turn the lamp housings to point them at the area to be illuminated.

MAINTENANCE

Wipe the lamp with a soft, lightly moistened cloth. Do not use detergent or solvent.

REPLACING THE BATTERY

  • Only use new batteries.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix alkaline batteries with other types of batteries, for example, rechargeable batteries with non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Insert the batteries with the correct polarity.
