Introduction

Thanks for purchasing the SoundBox Extreme, the Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker. We advise you to read and follow the instructions in order to be able to correctly set up the speaker and enjoy all of its features to the fullest.

BUTTON AND CONTROL

Preparation

Use the supplied USB cable to charge your portable speaker directly from the cell phone adapter (please make sure its output is 5v 2a). Make sure that the speaker is fully charged before using it for the first me.
The charging indicator will remain RED when charging and be off once fully charged.
Note

  • If the speaker beeps every few seconds( low battery prompt tone), please recharge it for 3 hours.
  • The speaker has a built-in battery saver mode where it will automatically power off if not in use or no audio output for 15 minutes.

Operations

Pair your speaker with your smart device or computer via Bluetooth Power on your speaker, and then turn on Bluetooth on your device to choose SoundBox Extreme in the list. If the pairing succeeds, the Bluetooth indicator light will be flashing blue slowly with a clear prompt tone.
Note:

  • The speaker will auto turn off after 15 minutes without any media input.
  • If your smart device cannot discover the SoundBox Extreme, please long press the Bluetooth button and try to pair again.

Have problems with connecting

  1.  Make sure that your device is within 1 meter from the speaker.
  2.  Clear the Bluetooth pairing list on your device.
  3. Restart your speaker.
  4.  Try to do the pairing steps above again.
  5.  Is the problem still unresolved? Contact DOSS customer service at support [email protected] for assistance.

How to set up true wireless stereo pairing (TWS connection)

  1. Turn on the two speakers and choose one of the speakers to long-press the “+” and “-” buttons at the same same.
  2. The speakers will enter pairing mode, the master speaker will flash blue quickly.
  3.  When pairing successfully, the master speaker will flash slowly, and then another one will be steady blue.
  4. Turn on Bluetooth on your device to choose SoundBox Extreme in the list.
  5. If the pairing succeeds, the Bluetooth indicator light of the master speaker will be flashing blue slowly with a clear prompt tone.

Note:

Do not turn on the Bluetooth function of your device when pairing two speakers. Otherwise, it will fail.

Use your speaker with Echo Dot
You can connect the Dot with the speaker by Bluetooth. Please follow the below steps to set up via Bluetooth:

  1.  Download the Alexa app and follow the standard setup procedure to get the dot connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
  2.  Switch the SoundBox Extreme to Bluetooth mode, you can press and hold the Bluetooth buon to keep it in pairing status.
  3.  Run the Alexa App, tap Menu, and then tap Settings
  4.  Tap the Echo Dot in your list of Alexa devices, then tap Bluetooth.
  5. The SoundBox Extreme should appear in the list of Bluetooth devices. If not, please. long-press the Bluetooth button and try it again.
  6. Once listed, tap on the speaker to complete the pairing process.
  7. To remove the device, return to Bluetooth > tap the name of the speaker > tap “Forget Device”

Note:

Voice command will not be able to turn on/off the speaker if you connect to it via Bluetooth.

  • Do NOT use the speaker near a microwave oven or wireless LAN products.
