Thanks for purchasing DOSS PowerBox Bluetooth Speaker. It’s recommended to read the instruction thoroughly to get the most out of this innovative device. DOSS PowerBox is not only a Bluetooth speaker, but also a power box for Amazon Echo Dot.

Product Overview

Buttons & Ports 1-7 are working in Bluetooth mode only.

1. Play/Pause Button
   • Press MIl to answer or end a call; Long press it for 3 seconds to reject a call
   • Press »I to play/pause your tune. Long press it for 3 seconds to disconnect with your device. Short press this button again to reconnect with your device.
2. Volume –
   • Long Press : skip to previous track
   • Short Press : decrease the volume
3. Volume +
   • Long Press : skip to next track
   • Short Press: increase the volume
4. Power Button/Mode Switch
   • Long Press : turn on/off the speaker
   • Short Press : switch to different modes
5. Auxiliary 3.5mm jack : used for cabled playback with compatible devices
6. Reset Port: poke the RESET button when the speaker cannot be turned off
7. DC-In Port : plug the supplied USB cable into this port to recharge the built-in battery
8. Micro-USB Plug : Used for charging the Amazon Echo Dot
9. 3.5mm Aux Plug : Used for connect the speaker with the Amazon Echo Dot
10. Lid: Used for covering the speaker when you don’t use Echo Dot.

Preparations

• Use the supplied USB cable to charge your PowerBox directly from yourcomputer micro USB port or the cellphone adapter (please make sure its output is 5V);
• Make sure that the speaker is fully charged before using for the first time. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge the speaker;
• LED light will remain RED when charging, and turn off once charging completes;
• Long press the power button to turn on the speaker. Repeat this step to turn the device off as well.

Using it with your Amazon Echo Dot

1. Take away the lid on the top of the speaker, and put your Echo Dot in;
2. Plug the USB cable and auxiliary cable into Echo Dot;
3. Long press the button to turn on the speaker;
4. Now, please follow the instructions of Echo Dot to connect it with your smart device and start playing.
   Note: Voice command will not be able to turn on/off the DOSS PowerBox.

Bluetooth Pairing

If you don’t use Amazon Echo Dot, the PowerBox also supports Bluetooth pairing.

1. Long press the button to turn on the speaker;
2. Short press the button again to switch to Bluetooth mode;
3. Turn the Bluetooth on in your smart device;
4. Discover ‘DOSS PowerBox’ in the Bluetooth list, and pair the speaker;
5. The indicator would turn steady blue, and now you can start playing.

Auxiliary Input

You can also connect your device with the PowerBox by using the supplied auxiliary cable.

1. Long press the button to turn on the speaker;
2. Plug one end of a 3.5mm audio cable into the speaker, then the mode indicator will show a green light;
3. Plug the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable into your audio device;
4. Start playing;
5. If you want to play/pause the tune, or skip to previous/next tune.

Please control the native buttons on your audio device.

Answering and ending a call by using your speaker or mobile phone

1. When there is an incoming call, the speaker will generate a tone to alert you of this event;
2. Short press the button on the speaker to pick up the call, or longpress it to reject the call. You can also press answer button on your smart phone to take the call;
3. Speak with a clear voice right into the built-in microphone located on the front section of the speaker;
4. To end the call, short press the once again. Likewise, you can also end the call on your smart phone.
5. When listening to music using your smart phone, playback will resume automatically once the call ended.
