Plum Rugged Device Quick Start Guide
- Only use approved PLUM charges, cables & accessories.
- Ensure the USB Port Cover Rap is correctly sealed to protect from water & moisture.
- Ensure that the rubber seal inside the battery door is placed correctly. Improper use can cause damage to lhe device.
- IP-67/68 Certified devices are waterproof In depths of 1 meter or less and can be submerged for up to 20 minutes.
- RI nse the device with freshwater after submersion In salt waler, dirt, dust, etc.
- Rugged devices are designed to withstand falls from up to 1 meter In height.

Before inserting the battery,
There are some things you need to know …
To insert the SIM:
- Open the metal Cover
- Insert the Micro SIM card(s)
- Close and lock the metal Cover
To insert the Micro SD card:
- Open the metal Cover
- Insert the Micro SD card(s)
- Close and lock the metal Cover
Quick Power On
- Circumrotate the screw Ust> the screwdr’J\lertool provided in the bo11 Of “‘coin to unscrew the battery cover.
- Open the battery cover open the with battery cover
- Insert the SIM card Insert anly 1 sim card in sim slot #1 then close and lock the metal latch.
- Insert the Micro-SD card insert the SD card then close and lock the metal latch.
- Insert the battery Insert the battery, cover the battery cover and use the coin or provided tool to rotate the screw clockwise.
- Charge 12 hours Suggestion: charge far 12 hours for the first using.

For the APN setting:
- Go to Setting➔ Connectivity➔ Data Account
- Then Click Done➔ Done➔ Save to save the APN setting
- After change, Please go to Messaging➔ Message settings➔ Multimedia message➔ Data account, then choose the updated APN
