Instructions for Installation and Care of Arctic Cat Prowler Full Cab Enclosure Fits Hard Windshield AC-PROWLER-FC05
Notice: Cab is Flammable. Do not smoke inside the cab or expose the enclosure to direct flames.

Be sure to read these instructions thoroughly before opening and installing the enclosure. The installation is best done when the temperature is 70 degrees F. or warmer. The temperature affects the adhesive Velcro, if conditions prevent installing in warmer weather it helps to store the adhesive Velcro at room temperature prior to installation.

  1. Carefully unroll the Cab Enclosure on a large, flat, clean surface. Open the hood compartment and raise the bed. This will allow access to the front and rear of the vehicle for necessary installation of Velcro. Check all parts with list shown below:

    • 2” Self-adhesive Velcro Hook: 1 each——————120” long “ “ 2 each——————-24” long “ “ 2 each——————-12” long “ “ 2 each———————8” long “ “ 2 each——————– 6” long “ “ 2 each———————4” long “ “ 2 each———————5” long
    • 1” Self-adhesive Velcro Hook: 2 each ——————–24” long
    • Cab Enclosure ——————1 each
If any parts are damaged or missing please contact customer service at 606-845-7439.
  2. Begin installation by placing the 120” adhesive Velcro strip around the wide outside edge of the front roll bar. You may need to cut the Velcro to fit around your windshield clamps. Be certain to clean the surfaces before applying the adhesive hook strips!

  3. Drape the enclosure over the top of the roll cage and attach the front of the cab to the 120” Velcro strip you just installed. Be sure to center the cab correctly as this may affect fit elsewhere.

  4. Working your way to the rear of the roll cage carefully fit the Cab into position. Be sure to pull the lower edge of the rear panel down between the rear of the roll cage and the front of the dump bed. Apply the two 6” Velcro strips on the back of the roll cage at the side where you see a tab is going to wrapping around to the back of the cage.

  5. Next zip the doors closed. You will see three pieces of Velcro on the bottom of each door, one 6”, one 12” and one 8”. Match the Velcro hook strips to those already attached to the doors. The 12” strip should run along the curve of the rear fender line.

  6. On the part of door in front of the zipper you will see two pieces of Velcro loop sewn in place. The 1” Velcro hook strips will run along the front fender line down to the top of the horizontal line of the floorboards. Then attach the 4” Velcro hook strips the floorboards horizontally under the 1” strip. Checking where the loop strip on the enclosure will hit the UTV before installing the adhesive strips will help to ensure a good fit

  7. Now close the front hood and secure it down. It should sit on top of the bottom of the windshield. Then lower the bed into position and the bed will push in on the back of the enclosure. If it seems too tight across the rear panel, you can adjust he distance by loosening the rear of the door and repositioning the Velcro a bit.

  8. To open and stow the doors, move the zipper fully rearward and fold the bottom portion of the doors up. Then begin to form a vertical roll with the door by rolling it inward from the front edge toward the rear of the door. Secure in place using the two hook and loop straps provided. Try to form a roll approximately 3-4” in diameter to assure that the door will not stick out very far while stowed.

Cleaning and Storage Recommendations

  1. Before removing the Cab for storage, make sure it is very clean in order to prevent scratching of the window panels. Clean with a soft rag or sponge using a mild liquid detergent soap and warm water solution. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth or rag! Let the Cab dry thoroughly before attempting to roll for storage.
  2. It is important that the Cab be rolled up for storage rather than folding. Folding will cause damage to the windows!!! Carefully roll up the Cab similar to the way it was when it was packed at the factory. On a large, clean and flat surface, fold the doors over the rear panel first, then, interleave the top and windshield on top of the doors. Begin rolling the Cab into a roll approximately 8 inches in diameter. Put the rolled Cab back into the carton for storage at a normal room temperature. It is best not to expose the Cab to either extreme hot or cold temperatures when storing.
  3. A special cleaner conditioner is available from Falcon Ridge that will greatly increase the service life of the Cab Enclosure. In addition, if additional hook and loop sets are needed, they can also be ordered.

Thank you for your purchase!
