BOYA BY-CM3 Desktop USB Microphone
General Introduction
Thanks for choosing BOYA!
The BOYA BY-CM3 is a USB condenser microphone, compatible with most Android
devices, tablets with USB-C port and Mac/WindowS computers.
Thanks to its cardioid polar pattern, the BY-CM3 clearly captures speech in
front of the mic while effectively reducing unwanted background noise. It is
ideal for streaming, podcasting, vocals, instruments recording,
and more.
Cautions
- If you do not intend to use the microphone for a long period of time, please remove the USB cable.
- Do not touch the microphone while recording, as this will cause noise to be recorded.
- Do not let the microphone close to high-voltage equipment or to devices that emit strong electromagnetic fields; otherwise, it may cause the noise to be recorded.
- Do not use or leave the microphone in hot, humid places.

Mounting the BY-CM3 to a boom arm
- Unscrew to remove the microphone from the desktop stand.
- Mount the microphone to a boom arm through its 5/8″ threaded hole. Note: the boom arm is not included.
How to use
- Connect the microphone to your computer with the supplied cable. (Blue indicator will light up. )
- Adjust the microphone at your desired angle.
- Turn the knob to adjust the microphone gain according to your needs.
- You are ready to record.
