Tips for use
Radio connection
The range between transmitter and receiver is up to approx. 20 metres. This
applies only as the crow flies without obstacles such as walls or metallic
objects like tripods. Ideally, check the connection
on site before you start recording. If the transmitter or receiver is moving,
noise or a (short or tinal) break in the connection may occur if there are
obstacles. As soon as the connection is re-established,
the sound will continue to be crystal clear.
Sound quality
Make sure that the microphone is not rubbing anywhere or being touched during
recording. In case of wind, draught, loud ambient noise or a loud voice
(singing), it is advisable to attach one ot the two windscreens. These
efficiently prevent or reduce wind noise and plosives.
Muting
The speaker can mute the microphone by briefly pressing the On/Off / Mute
button (5) once. The function indicator flashes slowly in red. To switch oft,
press the key again.
