Safety instructions

WARNING

  • Only use the product as de saribed in this document.
  • Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defe ctive product immediately.
  • Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
  • This product may only be serviced bya qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Donot expose the product to water or moisture.
  •  Diisc:onnect the product fiom the power sou r,ce before service and when replladng parts.
  • Dfts.connect the prod1Jct from the power sour,ce before remc,,r[ng the fan guard.

Installation

  1. For optimal performance, place the product on a location that complies with the following:
    • Flat and stable surface.
    • 50-60 cm free space around the product.
  2. Close open doors a nd windows. If you notice that the humidity level reaches 60% or above, ventilate the room for optimal perfor mance.
  3. Plug the power cable A10 into a power outlet

Filling the water tank

A Do not fil the water tank above the “max” indicator. A Do not use the product if the water level is below the “min” indicator.

  1.  Check if the drainage A is closed.
  2.  Open the top id A.
  3. Remove the stopper and fill with water. Fill until the water level is between “min” and “max” on the water level indicator A.
  4. Replace the stopper and dose A.

Using ice packs

  • The use of ice packs A29 is optional.
  • Fill A29 with water until the water level is at the “max indicator.
  • Add A29 to A8 if tap water does not provide enough cooling.
  • A Makesure the waterlevel is between “min” and “max.

Using the product

  • Press A@ to switch on the fan.
  • Press A16 to set the fan speed
    • A3 indicates the current fan speed.
  • Press AO to switdh off the fan.

Using the cooling function

  • Press A 2 to activate or deactivate the cooling function. A9 lights upwhen the function is active. For optimal performance, switch off the cooling function 15 minutes before switching off the fan.

Setting air flow direction

  • Press Aw to automatically swing the air flowfrom left to right. A13 lights up when the function is active.
  • Use A to set the vertical air flow direction.

Setting the fan mode

  • Use A3 to select the desired fan mode A2 indicates the aurrent fan mode. The different modes are
  • Standard: the fan blows with the seected fan speed.
  • Breeze: the fan speed fluctuates to imitate a natural breeze.
  • Sleep: the fan speed decreases by one level every half an hour. It continues to run at low speed.

Using the timer

When the product is switched on:

  • Press A 4 to set the timer.
  • Press again to increase the timer up to 7 hours
    The produt switches off after the set time has passed

When the productis switched off:

  • Press A 19 to set the timer.
  • Press again to increase the timer up to 7 hours
    The product switches on after the set time has passed.

Using the ionizer

  • Press A3 to switch on the ionizer. A20 lights up when the function is active.

Maintaining the filter
Clean the honeycomb filter A every two months LetA completely dry before storage to prevent molding. Replace A once a year or when the airflow is decreasing. To buy new filters, see www.nedis.com or contact the Nedis BV.service desk. To dean A

  1. Remove A and A
  2. Wash Awith water and soap
  3. Rinse Awith dean water.
  4. LetA dry.
  5. Place back A and AG.

Maintaining the water tank
Refresh the water in Avery week. Clean A when storing the product for a long period of time. To dean A 8:

  1.  Hold the product above a sink.
  2.  Open A@ to drain A8.
  3.  Remove A6 and AO.
  4. Clean A8.
  5. Close A9
  6. Place back A and AG
