AG! explanation:

The amount of CO2 in indoor air is a measure of air exchange depending on the use of the space (i.e. the number of people present). of the space (i.e. the number of people present) and CO2 can easily be measured with a CO2 meter. The less air exchange, the greater the amount of CO2 in the indoor air. Since Covid-ig is, like CO2, part of the exhaled air, the monitoring of the CO2 concentration in a room can be used as a measure for the quality of the air concentration in space can be used as a measure of risk for Covid-ig contamination. In general, it is important to keep the CO2 concentration in a room as low as possible at all times, below lower than goo ppm. High CO2 levels mean that the air is not being sufficiently refreshed. The less the air is changed, the more potential virus particles accumulate in the indoor air. Keep track of the number and duration of exceedances (more than goo ppm CO2) as little as possible and look for solutions: – Open windows and doors further or open more windows and doors – Check whether the ventilation system is working properly and, if necessary, increase its setting – Limit the number of people in the room, have fewer people in the room at the same time Note that it is not the case that with low levels of CO2 in the room, there is no risk of infection for SARS-CoV-2 exists. Indeed, the number of people present may be low, so that the enrichment of CO2 is limited and remains below goo ppm while still allowing infectious particles into the room. In a large-volume room, the CO2 concentration may also be low because of dilution yet there is still a risk of infection. Therefore continue to ventilate and air even when few people are present in an area, before, during and after their presence.

Note:

This device must not be used as a warning device for dangerously high concentrations (like industrial safety monitoring) and it is not suitable for medical institutions, certification or test measurements.

Air quality indicators:

The detector shows the current air quality level on the display with colors and smileys what the current air quality level is.
The linked values are shown in the table below.

The air classification index is divided into the following warning bars on the screen below the smileys:

Green = Good/Healthy air Level i. Green 400-57oppm Level 2. Green 57o-74oppm Level3. Green 74o-gooppm
Orange = Fair/Normal > but ventilation by open windows/doors is suggested. Level i. Orange goi-nooppm Leve12. Orange noo-3.3ooppm Level3. Orange 3.3oo-3.5ooppm
Red = Unhealthy/Very Poor > open all windows and doors to i00% refresh the inner space/room. Level i. Red 15o1-25ooppm Leve12. Red 2500-35ooppm Level3. Red 35oo-5000ppm

RE-CALIBRATION/RESET:

RESET: When power OFF and ON the software will be RESET each time. RE- CALIBRATION CO2 SENSOR: Ageing of the sensor may cause “drift” (=a small, constant change in the measurement results of the same device in the same conditions) causing the sensor to no longer correctly. Therefore it is important that the sensor is calibrated regularly (=adjusting the sensor so it measures correctly again).

The CO2 sensor is extensively tested and calibrated at the factory. The first time it is used you do not have to calibrate it yourself. To ensure reliable measurements, it is recommended after prolonged use (>i year) to calibrate the device again. Perform the calibration outdoors (do not place outdoors when raining) or in a well-ventilated place. When the CO2 value has dropped to 5 413 PPM (outside air is around 400PPM), there is no direct sunlight or other CO2 source nearby you can start calibrating. Please try to avoid perfumes, paints, air fresheners, cigarette smoke, alcohol, chemical substances and so on while carrying out measurements since these can lead to incorrect measuring results Press and hold the LEFT button until CO2 value starts blinking. The device will now execute the calibration process which takes about 5 minutes. The calibration will stop automatically and will be finished when the unit stops blinking. Attention: do not switch off the device during the calibration!

Batteries warning note:

New batteries must be recharged and discharged 3 – 5 times before their full function use time is released. Charge indoors only at room temperature and only under supervision during daytime. Disconnect from the charger when the battery is fully charged, as overcharging can shorten battery life. Lithium batteries should only be charged with constant current/constant voltage (CC/CV). When not in usage, the charge in a fully charged battery slowly disappears. Do not place the product near a heat source or expose it to direct sunlight, dust, moisture, rain or mechanical impact. Try to keep the battery temperature between o°C and 45°C at all times. If the battery is too hot ortoo cold, the product may not work temporarily, even if it is fully charged. Do not attempt to charge the device when the battery is damaged. Never insert metal objects in any opening of the (USB) charging port. The rechargeable battery is built into the device and cannot be replaced. Do not throw the battery into the fire, otherwise it may explode. Batteries may also explode if being damaged, please handle and disposal it according to local conditions and regulations. After 3 months long storage, need to completely discharged and recharge for at least 8o%. The battery used in this device may present a risk of fire or chemical burn if mistreated. Do not disassemble, short contacts, heat above 6o°C (140°F), or incinerate. Keep away from children. Do not disassemble and do not dispose of in fire.
