Disassembling the doorbell / charging instruction

1. Insert the disassembling needle in to hole and press firmly, as shown below.
2. Pull out the doorbell forward, as shown below.
3. Plug in the USB cable to charge the video doorbell.

Before you begin
Make sure your mobile device is running iOS 9 or higher or Android 5 or higher. Verify your Wi-Fi network/ name and ensure your mobile device is connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network/name/router.

Download / register / Login / Profile

1. Download (via Apple Store or Google Play Store) and / or open the Flint Q Smart application.
2. Tap ‘agree’ to confirm the privacy policy.
3. To register, please enter your mobile phone numeri email address.
4. Press ‘verification code retrieval’
5. Enter the verification code that was sent to your phone number or email address.
6. Create a password and login for the new app user. Already an account? Please go to Login.

Notes: Please note that only 2,4 GHz networks are supported. 5 GHz networks will not work. Ask your provider how to turn on both frequencies.

Installation

1. Open the FlinQ app
   
   Open the FlinQ app on your mobile device.

2. Add device
   
   Select ‘Add Device’ or the ‘+’ sign and make sure the indicator light on the video doorbell is flashing rapidly.

3. Select product
   
   Select your product type via the camera section tab. Please select the ‘FlinQ Smart Outdoor Video Doorbell’.

4. Fill in WiFi details
   
   Now fill in the WIFI name and password to continue the installation

5. Scan QR code
   
   Scan the QR code on your phone with the video doorbell camera. After you hear a beep click the button “Heard the beep“.

6. Device is being added
   
   The device is installed. This can take up to 2 minutes.

7. Device added successfully
   
   The device is installed successfully and added to your list of products. You can now control your device remotely

8. FlinQ Cloud Storage (optional
   
   For the FlinQ Outdoor Video Doorbell you can buy optional cloud storage in the FlinQ app. After purchase you can playback recorded media up to 30 days* from your mobile device anywhere in the world. For more information visit: www.fl inqproducts.nl/flint-app/cloud-storage/ or scan the QR code above within your mobile device.

Wall mounting

1. Drill the holes
   
   Drill the two holes in to the wall and hammer expansion plugs into the wall

2. Place back plate
   
   Fix the back plate into the wall by using the screws.

3. Place doorbell in back plate
   
   Put the doorbell to buckle it on the back plate to complete installation.

Connect the chime (optional)

1. Place chime in wall outlet
   
   Place the chime into the wall outlet and wait until it is turned on.

2. Reset the device
   
   Reset the chime by pressing the rest button for several seconds until you hear the ding dong sound, then release the button.

3. Press doorbell button
   
   Press the doorbell button to pair with the chime. When paired you hear a sound.

4. Doorbell ready for use
   
   After connecting to the chime the doorbell is ready for use.

Frequently asked questions

Can I share with family and friends?
Yes, you can share your cameras with family and friends who will have access to view the camera and control your bulbs, plugs, and other devices. In the FlinQ app, press the Profile button and click on the Home Management button, and you will be able to give or revoke sharing permissions. In order to share, the other user should already have downloaded the FlinQ app and registered a new account.

What’s the Wireless Range?
The range of your home Wi-Fi is heavily dependent on your home router and the conditions of the room. Check with your router specifications for exact range data.

How many cameras can I control?
The FlinQ app can control an unlimited amount of devices in an unlimited amount of locations. Your router may have limit of how many devices can be connected to one router.

My device shows offline in the FlinQ app

• Make sure the device is powered on
• Make sure the networks stable and the WiFi name and password are not modified. If not, add the device again to the FlinQ app.
• If the network is normal, but still offline. Check there are too many Wi-Fi connections. You can restart your router to check the status of the device.
