OPERATION

Important notes on operation
  • This appliance may only be used with oil or liquid grease. Solid grease must not be used as it often contains water which, when heated, could cause the grease to splash out of the appliance when heated.

  • Never switch the appliance on if there is no grease in it, as this could damage it.
Never pour liquids such as water or other substances into the container. Ensure that the unit is placed on a dry, stable and horizontal surface.

  • Make sure that there are no objects in the immediate vicinity of the unit, as it becomes very hot during use.

Operation
  1. Remove the cover and remove the accessories.
  2. Fill the appliance container with a sufficient amount of oil or liquid grease. Make sure that the oil level is between the minimum and maximum marks, but never lower than the minimum mark or higher than the maximum mark. For a good result, it is recommended not to mix oil types but to use one type of oil.
  3. Set the temperature suitable for frying the respective food (see frying table).
  4. Place the basket with the handle in the container.
  5. Place the food to be fried in the basket.
  6. To achieve better results, place only dry food in the basket. This is especially true for homemade fries, etc. Always dry vegetables before frying them.
  7. Slowly lower the basket into the oil to avoid excessive bubbling and spraying of hot oil.
  8. The indicator light will turn off when the temperature you have set has been reached. The thermostat will turn on and off repeatedly to maintain the temperature you set. The same applies to the indicator light.
  9. Raise the basket again as soon as the frying time has elapsed.
  10. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
  11. Wash the basket and handle after use and dry them thoroughly.
  12. Before filling the oil, make sure that the tap is closed and in the „Off“ position.
Replacing the oil
  • Make sure that the deep fryer and the oil have totally cooled off before replacing the oi l (remove the plug from the socket). Replace the oil regularly.
  • This is definitely necessary if the oil becomes dark, or takes on a different smell.
  • In any case, replace the oil once after every 10 times that you use the deep fryer.
  • Replace the oil all at once: do not mix old and new oil.
  • Discarded oil is a burden to the environment. Do not throw. In the normal rubbish bin, but follow the guidelines of the waste collector in your area.
