SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer, separate remote control system, or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
  • Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid for any reason.
  • Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
  • Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  • Do not use if you have wet hands.
  • Never use the appliance on or near hot surfaces.
  • Do not operate with a damaged cord.
  • Before cleaning the appliance, make sure it is unplugged from the power and that it is completely cooled.
  • Do not clean the appliance with abrasive chemicals.
  • Never use accessories that are not recommended or supplied by the manufacturer. It could cause danger to the user or damage to the appliance.

ASSEMBLY

  • Remove all parts and hardware from the box and place them on a clean, soft, and dry surface.
  • Make sure that all parts are dry and that the power cord and plug are not damaged.
  • Compare the contents with the parts list to make sure nothing is missing.
  • Dispose of all packing materials properly and recycle them whenever possible.

Note: A Phillips screwdriver is required for assembly.

Mounting the feet
Note: Before assembling, make sure that the unit is disconnected from the power supply. Never install, move or clean the heater while it is connected.

  1. Turn the heater (A) carefully upside down and lay it on a clean, soft surface.
  2. Place the foot (B) on the corner of the chimney frame.
  3. Fasten the base with two screws (C). Tighten the screws only slightly for the time being.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the other three feet.
  5. Check the alignment of the feet and then tighten all 8 screws with the screwdriver, but not too tight.

Note: Fasten the feet before first use! Never connect this unit if the feet are not securely attached.

OPERATION

Note: The control panel is located in the lower right corner of the heater. Open the door to access the control panel.

Functions

Control Description
ON/OFF Set the power switch to ON, the power indicator will illuminate and

the flame effect will illuminate. Set the power switch to OFF, all functions will be turned off.
Flame Intensity| Turn the knob to the right (+) to enhance the flame effect Turn the knob to the left (-) to dim the flame effect. Note: The ON/ OFF switch turns the flame effect on and off. The flame effect will not be turned off until the switch is set to OFF.
Thermostat| The thermostat controls the temperature and keeps it constant. Turn the knob to the right (+) to increase the temperature.
Turn the knob to the left (-) to decrease the temperature. The heater will automatically turn on and off to maintain the set temperature. Note: If the room temperature is higher than the thermostat setting, the heater will not turn on.

Note: During the first use, an odor may be created by the materials used in the device. The smell is normal and disappears after a short time.

CLEANING AND CARE

Note: Turn off the power and unplug the appliance from the wall outlet. Wait until the appliance has cooled down completely before cleaning.

Metal parts| Polish the metal parts with a soft cloth and a household
cleaner containing orange and citrus oil. Do not use brass care products or household cleaners as they will damage the metal.

Glass parts| Use glass cleaner and dry the glass thoroughly with a lint-free cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners as they will scratch the surface.
Plastic parts| Wipe the parts with a slightly damp cloth and a mild solution of dishwashing detergent and warm water.
Ventilation slits| Use a vacuum cleaner or feather duster to remove dust and dirt from the ventilation slots.
Storage| If you will not be using the unit for a long time, store it in a dry, clean place.
