BEFORE THE FIRST OPERATION
Fastening the rolls
Before first use, the rollers must be attached to the front and back of the
device.
Filling the water tank
If you want to use the cooling and humidifying function, fill water into the
water tank. First pull out the water tank at the back of the appliance and
then slowly fill the water into the tank.
Note: In principle you can use your air cooler at any time without water
in the tank. It will then work like a normal fan. Water in the tank is only
needed for the cooling function. The air cooler evaporates this water via the
nebulizer fleece. Heat is extracted from the air and the air temperature of
the fan is reduced by up to 3 °C, depending on the cold of the water used. We
advise against using the cooling function on days with particularly high
humidity, as it increases this humidity and can contribute to circulation
problems.
Use of the ice box
The ice box serves to slowly absorb the heat in the water and thus cool down
the water temperature in the water tank for several hours, so that the air
blown out by the air cooler seems a little cooler.
Place the ice box in the refrigerator freezer until it is completely frozen.
Place a frozen ice box in the water tank of the air conditioning fan (the box
on the left side of the water tank). Slide the water tank back into place.
After about ten minutes the ice box will have cooled down the water in the
water tank. This appliance is equipped with two ice boxes to ensure continuous
use.
Inserting the battery into the remote control
To open the battery cover, insert a coin or equivalent tool into the slot of the battery cover and turn it in the OPEN direction to open the battery cover. Replace the battery, then turn the battery cover towards CLOSE to close it. When the battery power is low, please replace the battery (CR2032 3V). When inserting the battery, pay attention to the positive and negative terminals of the battery.
OPERATION
After you plug the plug into the power outlet, you will hear a beep and the unit will go into standby mode.
On/Off
In standby mode, press the power button to turn on the device. The other
buttons do not work in standby mode. When you start the appliance for the
first time, the power light under the power button will come on. The fan
starts automatically at low speed and the corresponding light is on.
In case there was no power failure and it is not the first time you start the
unit, the last operating state before switching off is maintained (except the
timer, sleep mode and filter drying functions). After the first power on, the
initial functional state of the device is as follows:
- The low speed indicator lamp lights up.
- The default setting is normal wind.
- The humidification/air cooling function is off.
- The timer is off.
- The oscillation function is off.
When the appliance is on, press the on/off button to switch off all functions and enter standby mode.
Speed
When the device is on, press the speed button several times to adjust the
speed as follows: low > medium > high > low. If you change the speed, the fan
will stop briefly before moving to the next set speed level.
Filter drying function
When the device is in the on state, press and hold the speed button for 3
seconds. The high speed light flashes continuously. The filter drying function
starts and the fan runs at high speed for 20 minutes. During the 20 minute
high speed operation, only the On/Off button can be used. The other buttons do
not function during the filter drying.
Humidification/Cooling
When the unit is in the on state, press the humidification button to start the
Cooling by humidification function. The corresponding light comes on. Press
the button again to deactivate the function. If you do not deactivate the
function manually, it will go off automatically after 10 hours.
Setting the switch-off time r
When the device is in the on state, press the Timer button several times to
select the desired switch-off time: 1h > 2h > 4h > 8h. The corresponding light
comes on. After the time has elapsed, the device switches off automatically.
Oscillation function
When the unit is in the on state, press the swing button to make the air flow
move alternately to the left and right. The corresponding light will come on.
Press the button again to deactivate the function.
Mode
When the unit is in the on state, press the mode button several times to set
the mode as follows Normal > Natural > Sleep > Normal. The corresponding light
comes on.
Normal| The device operates at the fixed speed set by the user: high, medium
or low.
---|---
Natural| The unit operates at a preset, changing speed and automatically
switches from high to medium and low. This mode simulates the effect of
natural airflow, making the wind softer and more comfortable.
Sleep| The unit operates at the speed set by the user and reduces the speed
according to preset rules. This mode prevents physical discomfort caused by
wind at too high a speed during sleep.
If high speed is set at the beginning of the sleep mode, the device will run
at high speed for 30 minutes and then run at medium speed for 30 minutes
before changing to low speed.
If medium speed is set at the beginning of sleep mode, the device will run at
medium speed for 30 minutes before changing to low speed.
If low speed is set at the beginning of sleep mode, the unit will run at low
speed constantly.
Important notes on operation
- If there is no key operation within 1 minute when the power is turned on, the indicator light turns dark (33% of the original brightness). The display will light up again as soon as any key is pressed.
- When cooling and humidification have been running continuously for 10 hours, the pump is automatically switched off.
- When the appliance is turned on, the operation light will illuminate and the appliance will run at medium speed by default. After 3 seconds, it switches to low speed and the low speed light comes on.
- If there has not been a power failure and the unit is not starting for the first time, the unit will remain in the operating state before switching off (except for the timer, sleep mode and filter drying functions). If the wind speed was low before the unit was switched off, the fan will start at medium speed and then switch to low speed.
- In sleep mode, the light of the corresponding wind speed level changes as the level is switched.
Notes on tones
- A short beep is generated when any key is pressed.
- A long beep is generated when the unit is turned off by pressing the power button.
- When the timer reaches the set time, no sound is heard.
