The camera can be used as a handheld device.

or

Mount the fully charged device to a tripod using the ¼”-20 mount located on the body.

MAKE SURE TRIPODS DO NOT BLOCK THE DIRECT PATH OF OBJECT(S) TO BE IMAGED TO ENSURE THE EQUIPMENT WILL NOT BE MOVED OR KNOCKED DOWN. USING A DIVIDING BARRIER WILL HELP KEEP TRIPODS SEPARATE FROM THE PATH.

TURN ON THE CAMERA BY PRESSING AND HOLDING THE POWER
BUTTON FOR AT LEAST TWO SECONDS.

B.

Power on device

PRESS AND HOLD THE POWER BUTTON FOR MORE THAN 5 SECONDS TO SHUT DOWN THE CAMERA.

Operations

Power

Press and hold to power On/Off. The green light is always on when the unit is powered on.
After powering on the device, quick press to initiate sleep mode. Press any key to wake device from sleep mode

Color-code

Short press to toggle polarity (color palette). Long press to power on laser

Zoom

Short press for electronic zoom: 1x, 2x, or 4x cycle. Long press for continuous zoom: 1x~4x cycle.

Photo

Short press to capture images. Long press to begin recording; then, short press stop.

Key Combinations

Color-code + Zoom:

Press and hold the Color-code and Zoom buttons to simultaneously to access the main menu.

Photo + Zoom:

Press and hold the Photo and Zoom buttons simultaneously to perform a NUC operation.

Diopter Adjuster

Turn knob to adjust for the degree of myopia.

Access User Menu/Navigation

  • Press and hold the Color-code and Zoom buttons simultaneously to access the main menu.
  • Quick press the Power or Color-code button to navigate menu.
  • Quick press the Zoom or Photo button to adjust values.
  • Press and hold the Color-code and Zoom buttons simultaneously to exit the main menu.

Contrast: 0 ~ 100% adjustable; default 50%

Brightness: 0 ~ 100% adjustable; default 40%

Detail enhancement: 0 ~ 15 adjustable; default 5

Red display: ~100% ~ 100% adjustable; default 10%

Wi-Fi: off by default

Press the Zoom button to enable/disable. Press the Photo button to select between AP or STA mode. The Wi-Fi feature is disabled after restart and must be re-enabled. Mode settings are saved.
AP mode: Install and run mobile app IR-Tracker. Connect to the device “xxx xxx” (model and serial number) using the app. Enter the password “12345678”. Click Connect to see image. Use the app capture and record media, review images, playback
videos, storage controls, and other functions.

STA mode: This is an extension and requires professional assistance.

ENABLING WI-FI INCREASES THE POWER CONSUMPTION OF THE
DEVICE RESULTING IN OPERATION TIME. DISABLE THE FEATURE
WHEN NOT IN USE.

Distance function displays the estimated distance to a specific subject.

Picture-in-picture function enables the dual window mode.

Hot spot tracking automatically tracks the highest temperature point on the screen.

Display sleep time: 0/5/30/60 minutes; default 0

Switch the cursor type and display position which is adjustable. Cursor settings are saved on reboot.

Image brightness: 20/40/60/80/100; default 60

Press the Zoom or Photo button to enable/disable system upgrade.

To upgrade the system, first store the upgrade on the internal memory card via a computer; then, enable system upgrade to update the firmware.

Press the Zoom to initiate formatting of memory card. Have patience while the card is formatted. Feature is automatically disabled after formatting completes.

All files on the memory card are erased after formatting and cannot be recovered. Only format the memory card if the files are no longer needed.

FILES ON THE MEMORY CARD ARE ERASED AFTER FORMATTING
AND CANNOT BE RECOVERED. ENSURE THE FILES ARE NO LONGER
NEEDED BEFORE FORMATTING THE MEMORY CARD.

Press the Zoom or Photo button to restore factory defaults. Have patience while system restore is in progress. Feature is automatically disabled after restoration completes.

Press the Zoom or Photo button show device version information.

Charging Instructions

A.

Plug on end of the USB cable into the charge port on the device

B.

Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible power adapter.

C.

Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible power adapter. Plug power adapter into a 110/120V electrical outlet.

CHARGE THE BATTERY FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 HOURS BEFORE USING THE DEVICE. THE LIGHT IS RED WHEN CHARGING AND GREEN WHEN CHARGING IS COMPLETE.

ENSURE THE IMAGER IS NEAR ROOM TEMPERATURE BEFORE
CHARGING THE DEVICE. DO NOT CHARGE IN EXTREMELY HOT OR
COLD AREAS. THE BATTERY CAPACITY MAY BE DECREASED IF
CHARGED IN AN EXTREME TEMPERATURE ENVIRONMENT.

IF YOU DO NOT USE THE IMAGER FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME, PUT THE DEVICE IN A COOL AND DRY ENVIRONMENT. THE BATTERY WILL DISCHARGE OVER TIME; THEREFORE, THE IMAGER SHOULD BE CHARGED OCCASIONALLY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE BATTERY OR THE DEVICE.
