Product Information
The KPMG Right to Work App is a mobile application available for download from the Google Play store. It is designed to assist users in conducting right-to- work checks for employment purposes. The app offers various features such as document scanning, form filling,and submission management.

Product Usage Instructions
Downloading and Logging In:
- Download the KPMG Right to Work App from the Google Play store on your work or personal phone.
- Search for “right to work app” and select the KPMG enterprise edition.
- From the main menu, click on SSO and enter “coop” in the Company ID field.
- You will be directed to the login screen. Sign in using your coop email address and password.
- If you encounter any login issues, contact the HR Services Team on 0330 606 1001 or submit an HR service request.
Using the App:
- Once logged in, you can start a new check by clicking on “Start Check” or access the menu by clicking on the three lines in the top left corner.
- From the menu, you can view saved checks, check for any actions required, access your inbox, and find FAQs.
- To scan a passport, select the “Scan Passport” option and position your device’s camera reader over the passport. Adjust the positioning if needed to capture the code at the bottom of the passport.
- Most details will be automatically filled out by the reader, but review them and fill in any necessary fields.
- If applicable, enter your requisition number in the provided field to help Resourcing teams process your submission quickly.
- Include the vacancy requisition number in the staff ID field to avoid delays in finding your check.
- For document verification, answer a series of questions to confirm you have seen and verified the candidate’s document(s).
- On the following screens, sign to attest that you have seen the original copy and that the candidate has given consent.
- Your inbox will display notifications. Click on a notification to view its details. The notifications will disappear after being clicked, but you can access them again from your inbox.
- You will receive an instant notification when your check has been approved (for UK Passports).
- If your check is rejected, you will receive a notification with the reason. Click on the notification to view the details.
Online Right-to-Work Share Code:
- Select “Online Right to Work Share Code- App” from the options.
- Click “OK” to proceed.
- Select “Share Code Result Capture” to access the Home Office’s Online Right to Work Check.
- Click “Start Now” to begin the process.
- Enter the Share Code and click “Continue”.
- Enter the Applicant’s date of birth and click “Continue”.
- Enter your company name (“Co-op”).
- The details will be displayed. Click “Capture” for the app to take a screenshot of this document.

What you need to do
You can download the app from the Google Play store on your work or personal
phone and search for the right to work app. It’s the KPMG enterprise edition
you’re looking for
From the main menu click on SSO and then type coop in the Company ID field.
This will then take you to the login screen where you can sign in using your
coop email address and password

How to use the App
Once you’ve logged in, you can either start a new check by clicking on start check or click on the three lines in the top left corner to bring up the menu .

You can also view any saved checks or anything that needs further action from this menu as well as your inbox and FAQs

You’re presented with the 3 most commonly used forms of ETW as well as a manual option to upload other documents such as birth certificates, etc. When uploading documents the app will automatically prompt you for additional documents where required e.g. birth certificate and National Insurance number combination

To scan a passport click the Scan Passport option and place the camera reader over the passport to allow the scan to take place. If the scan is taking some time you may need to adjust the positioning of your device to enable the reader to capture the code at the bottom of the passport
It’s really important you include the vacancy requisition number in the staff ID field to prevent any delays in us finding your check -
On the next screen you will need to answer a series of questions to confirm you have seen and verified the candidates document(s)

The next two screens will require you to sign to attest you have seen the original copy as well as the candidate signing confirming they give consent
Once you click submit you will be presented with the options below
- Submitting will send the ETW documents to Resourcing Services, you should only do this for the candidate you wish to offer the role to
- Save to device will save the check to the app (not your phone) which will allow you to finishing interviewing all candidates before submitting the successful candidate to Resourcing Services. Any saved but not submitted checks will be automatically deleted after 4 weeks
- Cancel will discard the check and you will need to start again
Once you have clicked on the notification it will disappear but you can always view these again by accessing your inbox on the main menu
- You will receive this notification when your check has been approved. This is instant for all UK Passports
- Saved checks will appear like this
- You will receive a notification if your check is rejected click onto the notification to see why
Online Share Code Check
EU Documentation
- Select ‘Online Right to Work Share Code- App’
- Select ‘ok’
- Select ‘Share Code Result Capture’ this will take you to the Home Office’s Online Right to Work Check
- Click ‘Start Now’ to begin the process
- Enter the Share Code and click continue
- Enter the Applicants date of birth and click continue
- Enter your company name- Co-op
- You will be brought to this screen where it has the details. Click ‘Capture’ for the app to take a screenshot of this document
- You will be taken back to the details screen. If there is an expiry date on the document, -Select ‘Yes’ on and enter the date. Or N/A if no expiry
- Document is added
Channel Island Citizens
EUSS Documentation
- Select Channel Islands EUSS from the documents list
- Enter the relevant details
- Capture the front & back of the documents
- Capture any other photo of the document or copies that maybe relevant
- Document is added
Proof of Address
- Select Add Documents under Proof of Address
- Click OK
- Select the type of Proof of Address you are going to upload
- Add the document date
- Take a photograph of the document
- Add the photo you have just taken and select save
- Click back and that will take you back to the details page where you can ‘submit’ the POA
